Adventuring Fellow-New Weapon?

Somehow I missed many times to give my Adventuring Fellow a new weapon and/or a shield. My Adventuring Fellow's current level at 65, has all 3 pieces armors lock. Done all the quests for it.

My questions is, "How do I give my Adventuring Fellow a new weapons or shield?; without starting over :(

If you're at max bond or close to max bond, then you should have access to all the possible weapons. I don't remember if you have to trade one level at a time for each level, or if you will start off at the max weapon level right away. Either way, if you want to switch weapon types you do not have to start over, you simply trade Luto another weapon that your NPC can wield. It is also worth noting that the only that matters is the type of weapon your NPC is using, and that the weapon's stats and level have nothing to do with its damage. It only changes the appearance of the weapon.
