This is well over 8 years too late, but it was fun doing and only took me about 4 hours to do. I'm sure this could help someone out who is like me with color mixing, just never was ever good at it :(
Final Fantasy XI's linkshell color system has 16 options for each color, or 4,096 different color combinations. Instead of 0-255 it's 0-15, or 0-F for those who know hexadecimals. Very simple system, but the color you pick isn't exactly clear when you have to view the linkshell overlay which colors it a bit differently. I'm not saying my list is a perfect match, as I made an eyeball guess and determined the overlay was at 25% opacity which is close enough I think.
I tried to make this as simple as possible, but since I wanted to actually list all 4,096 possible combinations I had to split it up into 16 posts (excluding this one). Sorry about that, just no way around the max character limitations in posts.
How to use the system
You look through the list and find the color you want then click on the linkpearl. Your URL address will update with an RGB-like value of that color. It isn't exactly RGB, I figured this would be easier for everyone.
You start out by moving the Red, Green, and Blue bars all the way left to make the shell black. Let's say you click on a pearl and get this value at the end of your URL:

This is RGB(187, 136, 153) or #BB8899:

This basically means you move the red bar right 11 times, the green bar to the right 8 times, and the blue bar to the right 9 times. Can't really get any more simple than that I think. If I have to change it I can, but I think people can handle it.
