You are too dumb to realize that I'm always right but ok let's do eet. I wonder if you 'll go through the 7000 lines of the most advanced DPS simulator. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7wbcilaHsTecldhZm94a1gtZnM/edit You're very rarely right tbh, and when you are it's usually after someone points out why you were wrong to begin with and you make a correction. I severely doubt your simulation is anything short of *** considering your disposition and horrendous pDIF model. And if you really need 7000 lines of code to make an accurate FFXI DPS simulator, then you're even worse at coding than I am. Kick Attacks/Haste/DA/TA/QA build. +25% Haste (Set bonus on usu for the hands is +3%) +10 KA +18% DA little bit of counter and other multi attack etc. Tantra Necklace and Earring can be subbed out for Rancor Collar / Ghilie Earring +1 Small correction, set's not 3% for every piece after the first but it doesn't matter there anyways
Valefor.Prothescar said: » Small correction, set's not 3% for every piece after the first but it doesn't matter there anyways Then what is the correct set bonus? According to http://www.ffxiah.com/item/27930/usk-gote-1 is where I got the info. Ofc it's a wiki-based page. Could switch them out for Nomkahpa then. 3/5/7, 5/5 is unknown but presumably 9. You're still fine with 2 pieces
Valefor.Prothescar said: » 3/5/7, 5/5 is unknown but presumably 9. You're still fine with 2 pieces Oh so you'd still be getting the +3% from the hands? Yeah
Valefor.Prothescar said: » Yeah Cool i'll correct my post, appreciate it! A large portion of the code is gear / stat definition + the fact that it was written in C. I went through it briefly and saw that he's also using separate functions for every weaponskill, sometimes repeated. Takes up at least 1/4 of it if not more. Aside from that, few things I noticed:
1) Poor representation of fSTR 2) I can't find a randomizer for pDIF 3) I may be misreading it but it looks like he has OAX working on weaponskills. Presumably for mythics, and I'd hope it's removed/disabled if he's ever dealing with a non-mythic OAT weapon. Unsure if he has it functioning properly even for mythics and I can't be bothered to sift through it anymore to find out. 4) rand() is being handled in a strange manner but that isn't a big deal Cerberus.Smacksterr said: » Kick Attacks/Haste/DA/TA/QA build. +25% Haste (Set bonus on usu for the hands is +3%) +10 KA +18% DA little bit of counter and other multi attack etc. Tantra Necklace and Earring can be subbed out for Rancor Collar / Ghilie Earring +1 What is the point of this build exactly..? I have Omodaka Gote for hands per DPS spreadsheet since I dont currently own Tekko+1 this came out to be best option for my Mithra MNK. Just wanted to touch base and see. Thank you all. MioDio > Brego > Omodaka I think it is because my set is using 90 Vere, with the relic you are correct.

MioDio > Brego > Omodaka Going by what Mort's DPS Spreadsheet says after checking them omodaka is best. I suppose i could be wrong tho. EDIT: MioDio isnt in the GearList it seams, I altered one of the hand items with miodio stats and then checked the difference between all three VS every mob entry on DPS sheet. Omodaka wins on all. Again I could be missing some key piece of info but it seems for my personal setup. This wins out. I am more than willing to concede if i am wrong and want to learn what is best. Thank you again. doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize you're either getting something from the acc or the dex is giving you crit rate.
no, just saying that's the only reason it'd beat brego or miodio. the difference won't be that large anyways, and i'd keep omodaka for the extra acc jic.
Been gone over a yr, got back about a month ago. I see whats the best sets are but looking more for stuff to work towards. That's not out of reach atm. With that being said I'm working on getting VW wins still need Jeuno. And trying to get a group going for NNI. Anyways here we go.
Current. Smite. Working on Usu+1 head>Hands>Feet. In no order/Same time: Attack+TP moonshade / Wanion belt / Toci's / Thaumas Coat+Legs / Vere90. From looking the DPS spreed sheet in seems I'm in the right direction. Are my current sets right or am I missing something? That's not mentioned in stuff I'm working towards/on. Usu+1 head/hands are current main focus but a daily thing so. Another question I have is not sure if the DPS sheet is adding h2h tiers, It puts Brego ahead of AF3+2, should i be using Brego hands(assuming I always have haste whm/brd alt)? Thanks for any info/suggestions. This is the current TP set I am using for monk. On the spreadsheet that I am using I have mustela coming out in front front for easily attainable gear. Next step for me is Usukane+1 feet.
Moonshade is att/regain MioDio>Brego>Mustela>Omodaka for anything like qilin
MioDio>Mustela>Brego>Omodaka for DC nightmare mobs Just had to double check; ; ive been using
/equip main "Verethragna" /equip ammo "Potestas bomblet" /equip head "Usukane somen +1" /equip neck "Rancor collar" /equip ear1 "Brutal earring" /equip ear2 "Ghillie earring +1" /equip body "Thaumas coat" /equip hands "Usukane gote +1" /equip ring1 "Epona's ring" /equip ring2 "Rajas ring" /equip back "Atheling mantle" /equip waist "Twilight belt" /equip legs "Tantra hose +2" /equip feet "Thaumas nails" 25% haste 26% double attack 6% tripple 3% quad 6% kick attacks seems to work well for me Carbuncle.Ancientdragon said: » ive been using /equip main "Verethragna" /equip ammo "Potestas bomblet" /equip head "Usukane somen +1" /equip neck "Rancor collar" /equip ear1 "Brutal earring" /equip ear2 "Ghillie earring +1" /equip body "Thaumas coat" /equip hands "Usukane gote +1" /equip ring1 "Epona's ring" /equip ring2 "Rajas ring" /equip back "Atheling mantle" /equip waist "Twilight belt" /equip legs "Tantra hose +2" /equip feet "Thaumas nails" 25% haste 26% double attack 6% tripple 3% quad 6% kick attacks seems to work well for me Are you just sharing what you think is best, or are you asking for a better set? its what i think is best not sure what else there is to make it better the hands about only thing i can see but they so rare
Carbuncle.Ancientdragon said: » its what i think is best not sure what else there is to make it better the hands about only thing i can see but they so rare If you wish to stick with your existing setup w/o too much changes, stick with Tantra feet. Otherwise, something like Haste+4 hand piece(Miodio), usufeet+1 (I see you already got those) and using Windbuffet instead of Twilight. You maintain same amount of haste, gaining more multiattack. Slight increase in ATK/ACC aswell. so removing 8% double attack for 2% tripple and 1%quad is more multi hits ?
