Wonder what ppls thoughts are about this new shield added. -10 magic dmg looks sexy for non Aegis pld or those in the process of making it. Curious whether the -10 element resist across the board would change whether its worth using for higher tier mobs like voidwatch and such?

Aegis is only worth anything because it breaks one of the MDT hardcaps. This shield is trash.

I don't think anyone has a 99 empy, relic or mythic yet so only speculation at this point.

Edit: Actually I don't think anyone even can. Even if the trials weren't completely HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE, the actually trials aren't even added to the moogles yet. We do have confirmation what the items are for each trial type though.

Same question that comes up everywhere. What would trigger it? Engaging? WS? Shield bash?

Anyhow, it doesn't matter to the majority of us... 99 of any type right now are just right out...

the 99 shield has -50%mdt :D

ANY amount aoe (to break the 50% cap) would be awesome
