Okay, is anyone else having problem to log on XBL? :/

it just came live last night, theres still people that havent downloaded it yet cloggin the system. but ya seems kinda cool, making it on par with ps3 now, we'll have internet on it soon it seems
Think they did it in preparation of the new windows 8 and their windows phone lineup.

I'm not a fan of the look. I had to look around to find my game, when normally it would just load. :/

Eh it's convenient IMO.
But I haven't seen Windows 8 so I had no clue they were copying it.
It's no different though than sony's default UI for PS3 and PSP being the exact same xD
Having things in uniform does make things easier for people.
Personally I find the new UI a breeze to get through a lot easier than the last was. Bumpers to change tabs and d-pad for the rest.

My game is the first option if I click A right when I load. And if I hit down on the D pad once I'm in my DL'd library.
Convenient IMO.

Oh it "looks" nice.
Actually I applaud them in making it a bit more streamlined.
But they *** up alot of things that people already liked.
I for one LOVED the old netflix menu.
Now it's just ... messy? (It looks nice and I'm sure i'll get used to it, but I hate it right now)
I've yet to be able to say anything about these TV apps since like none are even here yet.

The Netflix deal is pissing me off. It looks completely HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE and the 3 times I've been on it since they did the update last night, I've had to type in my email and password for Netflix. Let me watch the Backyardigans, gd it!

I haven't tried to use the netflix because I have my Xbox in my PC room on the 32 inch TV and I'd much rather go downstairs and watch it on my big screen on the PS3(have to use my PS3 for something I suppose).

I'm not a big fan of the revamp of the layout they did on it. As for the email and password once you type it in that first time it should automatically load it up from then on I haven't had to redo that part.

Now this is only what i've heard from a friend, I don't know how accurate it is.
Also I noticed that now in netflix when someone signs in the badge thing pops up in the middle instead of the lower right like it always did.
I know that's something that will be fixed.
I haven't really explored the new dashboard yet, I had just only downloaded it. I guess I should go browse it a bit and see if everything is a'okay. :o

A couple friends of mine said they only had to do it once, too. For some reason our xbawks hates me, so I guess that's it.
Consistency in UI is an important thing IMO as it makes things more streamlined and convenient for repeated and practical use.
I for one really miss my Xbox 360. Debating if I should buy one this xmas.
