Kine's newest sheet has Twi Head/Dilarem's beating Rav/Jingang for Upheaval, if anyone wants to look over that.

At least at low cratio. Can just change setup based on target/buffs.

@ Person who said you can't be ignoring ddex after ukko's nerf, do you have any idea how high VW nm stats are? There is no way a war is going to be capping ddex even with braver's. A capped ddex ukko build would be worthwhile for fodder content, and that's pretty much it.

Anyway, to add fuel to the fire on how futile a dDEX build is, on DNC/WAR with 89 dex natively and 45 added on that from gear, and capped crit rate merits, I only parse about 15-16 percent crit rate against DC Dynamis mobs. Remember that 5 of that is baseline and 5 is from merits. It takes a lot of dex to cap ddex on worthwhile things.

I fully agree with Sylow, even attempting to cap dDEX becomes less helpful on the high-tier vw mobs

(there's no reason to be using Chaos Roll)

Opted for a softer response to avoid a topic ban. Please elaborate mathematically on how you arrived at all of these conclusions.

Honestly, have you ever even tried it? It's a drastic difference on almost every VW NM I've ever parsed.

Wouldn't fighter's roll be better than chaos roll anyways?

Until real defense values are found for these NMs, I don't know. Chaos has just had a big impact on my WS averages. But i think you're probably right since we're 99 now, Old Jeuno NMs fighter's will probably win, but stuff like Ig-Alima, I'm confident I'm not capping pDIF.

Tacticians isn't doing very much if you are constantly engaged. I personally think fighters would do a lot more than chaos, except maybe on some of the new T6?

Of course Chaos will increase your WS average. But you know what will do more damage over time? Miser's / Tacticians. Why? Because you'll WS a heck of a lot more often.

Arguing Chaos vs. Fighters is just dumb, because you shouldn't be getting either of them.

Fighters is more WS frequency and damage than tacticians if you are fulltime melee I believe. Even more so if you have marches.

It is pretty sexy with MS, with 2/5 merits it did about 8k to Orthrus.

Looking for advice on an optimal WS set for this, below is what I'm currently using. Upgrades that I know of would be AF2+2 hands and legs. Would elemental belt and gorget beat out what I'm currently wearing?

Thank you in advance for the responses!

I suspect the Ares body will do ya better than Twilight, if you have it or don't mind busting out some salvages. If you work for coins you can pull 50-100 alex on an average run and make some cash while doing it.

Wouldn't the elemental gorgets and belts be better for Upheaval? I don't have Upheaval merited but I know they are the best so far for Shoha and Resolution.

Upheaaval doesn't get the same attack bonus that Shoha does, I didn't see anything on studiogobli when I looked a few days ago, but I'm definitely seeing larger increases in str/atk/vit mixed sets instead of straight vit.

I've only done salvage like 3 times ever and barely have time as it is to play. Damn you Xmas! But if I get the time I may. I'll have to research some things as well.
