proc system was cute in abyssea, old in dyna, and now im sick of it in voidwatch if i had to proc something in nyzul id lose it just make bst mules become rmt by selling dyna currency
Arch Bosses in Dynamis can't be staggered. Soley dependant upon Treasure Hunter and a competent team
Have fun killing jeuno and Ziltart T3 without procs/temps.
I don't care what negative you all think about proc system, but the proc system is what make Relic reachable to the 99% out there. I hope they'll implement proc system to improve Alex drop when they Revamp making Mythic reachable by the 99.99% out there.

As it stands, procs have promoted jobism more than any other element of FFXI within the past few years, possibly ever. Previously, you could take any competently geared DD job and you'd get the job done, just marginally slower. Now you also lose procs, which imposes a more apparent cost in lost pop items, a greater amount of time lost, less currency/drops pulled in, etc. In Voidwatch that cost is compounded by having to change merits on some jobs, and in some cases you more or less give up on performing your job in a functional manner for the sake of spamming arbitrary procs. It is absolutely a horrible, poorly implemented system. The game would have been better off with no procs at all then the shitfest SE has created. I look forward to Neo-Nyzul and the other revamped content.

People don't want to do the same thing over and over. People didn't want to kill the same 5 kings and tiamat dragon forever either, so they complained and got new and/or different content as well. Proc systems also took a gigantic chunk of difficulty out of the current content with increasing levels. What good is new, nice and shiny gears when the max level content is stuck on easy-mode? (for the most part, I know some VWNMs are hard as bricks) ***
