This is all I have to contribute to the sniper talk. Quick-scoping still exists, even in MW3, however I do not remember which gun. I have been quick-scoped a few times, and it pisses me off faster than anything.
Always irked me how there was literally no reason to ever use the Intervention over the Barrett... at least now in MW3 Barrett has a real niche, as it is a ridiculously powerful sniper but makes you very slow.
EDIT: with respect to quickscoping, you must learn how to be a good sniper. However, running around like an idiot and trying to only quickscope people is definitely not being a good sniper. I do it when it's necessary.
Very sexy gameplay. I recommend anyone wondering how to play to watch that video and study how Enternius moves/engages - it's good stuff. He never stands still while fighting and you'll notice quite a few times decides not to engage because it is no longer favourable to do so (shoot at someone, they evade... most people would chase). Always moves such that he's around cover too.
I like the Barrett because of the sound it makes, and how big it is. I consider it a "REAL" sniper rifle. I just use a semi-automatic rifle with an ACOG scope for anything else. :x

Lol, thanks. Though to be completely honest this was my first time ever playing this map, and I'm LV74 so idk how I haven't yet (Haven't even played Outpost yet either, or some map with a foreign name), and this was also my first time ever using this gun. It's an absolute monster with a 40-round mag and this was even without attachments or Proficiencies. To be honest it looks accurate enough to not even need Kick proficiency though, we'll see.
Was wondeing if any1 did the campaign and beat it not on the hardest mode but the one thats under it. I did it to get some of the achivements and it did not give it to me.

Edit Beat it on Harden.
Ya, I did it on Hardened first time through. Didn't have any trouble being awarded the achievements ;o that's odd.
Yeah I'm thinking Dome. I'm bad with map names right now. I forget I can even vote most of the time, lol.
Edit: I also hate how Claymores are basically useless in this game. Everyone has Stalker Pro since there's no decent third perk besides that (unless you do Search and Destroy with Dead Silence, but that's boring as hell to me).
Yea it didnt give me the this is my broomstick, Nien achivement. On nien there is not enough enemys that are close to make 9. Iv tryed this on easy mode also and it still lacks the people. Im still looking for people that will help me get the achivements on special ops missions and suvival mode.

Steady Aim is reallllly nice especially with an SMG. Sitrep, like in MW2, goes from being pretty meh to borderline overpowered when Pro and Marksman is great if you're using a Sniper or burst fire gun (eg Type 95).
Sitrep Pro greatly enhances sound of enemies around you; can be really good if you're used to soundwhoring people.
Hipfiring is often better at close especially if you're using an SMG. Can run straight past someone, spinning as you do so such that they have to rotate 180 degrees to hit you and do it perfectly while you never lose target.
Ahh; I always keep my sensitivity much lower (+2 from default on console) to keep my accuracy nice and high (20-25%+) since I find it helps a lot easier, so I'm used to making a lot of in-combat manoeuvres. My PC accuracy is still 16% though -_- it'll get better with time but I am SO much weaker with KB/Mouse now that it's not even funny.
And yeah, it was hard as heck to level in Modern Warfare 2 too. Gonna be a pain!
