Sorry for the resolution, but it should be good enough to find what you're looking for.
Obviously player HP is 100 in core, 30 in hardcore.
Almost every weapon has less than 30 damage at range.
*** stupid.
In previous installments, aside from fun there was little reason to use a Sniper Rifle over an Assault Rifle. With this, Sniper Rifle's dominance at range is pretty much unquestioned.

It asserted itself yesterday with a particularly good sniper. He was dropping people at dead sprint quite handedly. Ranges in which we could never get him out of his little window. Snipers are actually capable of sniping now. As long as they can't win CQBs no scoping, I'm happy.
Dunno if anyone said this, but I ran into my first cheater on PC version MW3. He had some sort aimbot hack. He would move his aim straight to the head, every time, then move to the next person if there was one next to him, and get another head shot. Looking at his killshot cam, it was pretty insane. His name was "Jeebus" -_-;

Tis a shame you can't do it effectively in the new game mode "Kill Confirmed" lool.

Can still stop enemies retrieving the dog tags of their fallen comrades.
Sorry but i had to LOL so hard at your Cross hairs hardly been dead on yet you got the kill shot lol, typical crappy COD mechanics......
and when i say their not dead on i mean they were not even close to a body part, why does COD let you do this lol?
it tickles me pink, seen so many kills and had so many kills my self this way,its cheap
Rest assured you are the one providing free entertainment by not knowing what your talkin about. Take the time to read a few posts and you would know that its called "theater mode lag." Common for all uploaded videos.
no i don't think so,i have played all COD's for hours on end and seen thousands of kill cams, there wasn't even a theatre mode in MW2 on console......
so next argument please
anyone who has played 20+ hours on cods like MW2 and the like will know exactly what i'm talking about, anyone who says they have never been killed in game by a sniper on COD where the cross hair was 4" away from them is just talking turd
on console.
Guess what, that isn't a video from MW2. Have you even played MW3?
It's not like COD sniping is exactly hard. Snipers in COD shoot laser beams.
I like the fact that they actually do more damage than a paintball gun on other parts of the body aside from the head. One thing about BF3 that irritates me and that they have a neon sign coming from the scope that says "HEY LOOK I'M OVER HERE".
I never mentioned BF3. BF3 isn't the only game with bullet physics. Speaking of scope glint, there is an easy way to counter it. You find your targets without being scoped in the whole time.

I like it that way =/ I have no problem sniping like I always have in games with the glint, dunno why everyone seems to have such a problem with it. I die no more as a sniper in BF3 then I did in BF2 or BC2 or BC or any other game.
and believe me when i say this,i don't need to play MW3 to know the sniper mechanics haven't changed at all.that video just confirmed it.
just admit that in call of duty games you can get a kill shot with the sniper even if the cross hair wasn't on "target".
your not gunna win this argument, maybe you will win over a few forum people who are clueless to this, but trust me,my eyes have seen this happen on snipers so many times its not even funny that your trying to convince me that snipers in call of duty games are not flawed in this respect
You just won the argument for me, thanks. You havent played the game, so you have no idea what kind of improvements were made to the hit detection, no idea how much better the sniping is compared to previous installments. You're basing your pathetic opinion on a video uploaded via theatre mode, which is proven to lag the killshots from the moment it debuted in CoD.

I think it's a cool idea, but you can't say it seems ridiculous in certain situations; i.e. sometimes you can see the glint through walls, glint appears in shadows, etc.
