Angel Skin Fighting Suggestion

ok..tried to fight this thing as drk/sam (apparently not a good idea) so i was thinkin about either going cor/nin to kill it...b/c my drk gear sucks and sam is the only thing that can make it >.> Not suck as bad. Anyway, does anyone know if a cor with a Joyeuse could solo this thing w/o biting the dust?

It's a good possibility, can't say i know from experience though. Drop rate is so poor though i'd suggest finding at least a friend who can help you fish/kill as either THF or /THF

I'm pretty sure you would have a better chance beating him on DRK. I'm not sure how you are not able to. The only thing hard about him is the drop rate. ;o;

Just make sure to keep seigan up at all times and be on your third eye timer. Stun and drain as much as you can. With drk/sam and dread spikes youre almost guaranteed to win.

Dread Spikes goes well with Last Resort as well. The spell can deal up to around 1k damage.
-Edit- Sorry Dread Spikes can only do half of the casters maximum HP. My bad :3

COR/NIN seems to be fine as long as you keep shadows/rolls up.

Single-wield joy though. Don't let another weapon slow down your TP gain. :|

lol i dont like taking my blm to do anything where there is a possability i may die..I have to use it for ALL of my endgame events so i die enough there.

I've solo'd it as loldrk/sam many times. Stun, dread spikes and both drains make easy work of it.

Level your DNC sub. Anything/DNC, and you could solo it in your sleep.
That being said, I believe it's pretty easily soloable at LV70 for most jobs.

Don't forget Signet. It cons as a EP-DC mob.

I soloed it as WHM/Nin... It's just an easy prey mob.
