Now, trying to bind everything together into a single story is a HUGE mistake. Try to not read too deep into it or else you might get disappointed with the Final Fantasy franchise... lol I know u say not to read too deep into but i cant help it! Especially when i get the "I cant play FF10 without playing 1-9" >.> But anyways oddly enough while thinking this through it reminded me of the Matrix. A big pile of steaming monkey crap is what it is. The only game worlds that have been suggested to be related are X and VII, and even then the theory is a bit far-fetched. Pretty sure it was just a dev who wanted the connection to make sense.
Dissidia can't possibly happen before the compilation of VII unless there's timetravel involved. I just take it as an AU. :/ The time travel is Dissidia. Every cycle Cosmos picks her warriors again and at the end they return to their world. Dissidia is really the thing that kills me because they claimed its been going on for 13 cycles. 13 Final fantasys. 13 Times that they have fought each other. I hate SE for doing this to me :( I also noticed everyone is talking about FFVII i did not use it as an example for any other reason than its more obvious connection. |
