I honestly dont see why everyones "Team Carol"...she killed two people for an unfounded reason...i mean, they ask those three questions for a reason...and one of them is so they dont get people in there that kill people when they dont absolutely need to.
Yea you can play the whole "well she didnt know!?" but thats the entirety of why it was wrong...she didnt know what the outcome would be and she did it anyway.
I'm probably way off track, but I'm wondering if Carol killed them at all. Carol seemed too quick to take responsibility when confronted by Rick, and her general attitude just seemed out of character, like she's covering for someone else.
Maybe one of the kids from her class did it? That bloodstain Rick was inspecting on the doorframe did seem a bit low for an adult, and the stain itself wasn't very indicative of hand size.
In any case, I have a feeling Carol will be back, although not necessarily alive.
I dont think that metamorphosis has quite occurred yet. I think that might be what next weeks episode will entail. This last week seemed to be more about a man that lost everything, and found something to give him some kind sembalance of hope again. i.e the father-daughter relationship between him and Megan (name?).
I liked the departure from the main group story arc. At the same time I really wasn't a fan of this particular episode; it might have been the dark lighting. Having said that, it wouldnt be a bad premise for the show in the future to have a season of vignettes focused on a different group or character for a week or two.
If you remember, when they intro'd the governor's group, it was also like a whole different show. None of Rick's group were in the episode ( I can't remember if blonde girl came into their camp in that ep or not)
Who expected him to just leave the girls when they encountered the horde? I was almost expecting it.
Also, things I would have expected more on by now:
Milton said the zombies are slowly starving. Sure hordes encounter people/animals now and then, but none ever seem to die.
The black (government) helicopters we saw in early episodes? Nothing more ever came of that.

I was expecting him to go get the backgammon board and come back to them all being eaten by the old guy...or when she was like "WE ARE COMING WITH YOU NOW!" the thought of "well, now he's gotta kill ya!" ran through my mind (i didnt actually believe he would take them with him >_>).

I thought he was gonna somehow get the girl that pretended to be a Cop killed so that it would just be the daughter and what I though was the mother so it was more like his family.
Got my The Walking Dead: Compendium 2 in the mail..and now i gotta wait 2 days for One cause the company in Florida cant ship directly to Louisiana -.-;
Nice! Another pure governor episode. That ep last season was a high point (among a few) because it drops all the boring baggage for a bit like rick's inability to ability
I like how a commercial said "Tonight on Talking Dead, Chris and guests discuss whether the governor can take orders from his former subordinate."
The thing I don't understand is.. that army guy, the survivor, he wasn't too far from the governor's line of thinking, but who lets a stranger come into camp and kill your brother? The precuations gove is tanking, army could take.
Whatever, he was at gunpoint, but if that were my brother and I, first time I had a rifle, the gov would die or I would.
I was disappointed to find out that the comic series hasn't delved into the cause of the zombies either. Which means the random black chopper or two we saw in the early seasons probably won't be coming up any time soon.
For fun, since most the sets are cheap, they should show a random camp in Australia, or England, or if this is the case (I don't know) maybe areas of the world unaffected.
Also Rick's group has different names for them as if there's some difference. I never got that.
Effort aside, I wonder why Rick's group never thought of digging pits. That's a large perimeter to cover but A) As far as they're concerned, that's safer than most anywhere else, and B) bailt the zombies and they'll walk right into the hole.
Next time on AMC's The Walking Dead: 37 minutes of the Guvnah convincing the camp to attack the prison. 4 minutes of them rolling up on the prison and talking to Rick about attacking. 2 minutes of a shootout, someone getting hit and screaming offscreen. Credits!

If you think about it, the people in the show are pants on head HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE and should never have survived
With all of the supply runs they keep going on, surely they could get themselves a truck, pay Lowes a visit, get some building materials and fortify their freaking camp a bit better?
It's great that they've managed to salvage a few odds and ends here and there to rebuild the prison gate and put a few simple spike traps at the entrance, but if that were me, I'd be fortifying everything.
I'd probably also modify a muscle car with a locomotive-style grill and a whole lot of spikes, on the off-chance I encounter a horde while out on supply runs. Might seem a little Mad-Maxy, but hey, it'd work!

My wife is pissed about little a** kicker but i expected her to be gone. i mean even ignoring the comic book living on the road with a baby would have to be nigh impossible?
