idk if anyone caught this or this was said already.... and i been wanting to ask for awhile now (since first ep with the horde of zombies on the free way) but wtf happened to zombies being able to smell you?!? or is it that they havent bathed for so long they smell dead like them? that confused the hell out of me.

I see i'm not the only one who though about that...
Only thing I could think of is that non of them have got close enough to someone without going ape****. So maybe their sense of smell isn't something like a dog has but more of what we as humans have. Which is rather weak and would need to be rather close to smell anything.

Forget which episode it is, maybe epi 3 or epi 4 from season 1... BUT there's a drawn out sequence where Rick and Glenn are covered in zombie guts so they could walk past the hordes of walkers roaming downtown Atlanta in order to get to truck so they could evac everyone from the Department store. It totally worked too, cept for when it started to rain. At which point the zombies picked up on the fact that there was fresh meat on the hoof and within reach...

Or how about - as the zombies continue to deteriorate they lose their sense of smell, then hearing, etc?
Honestly, it doesn't detract much from the show for me. Since it's more about the human interactions than the zombies. (At least for me it is)

GDI commercials, this better be a good episode.
I wish networks would just get all the commercials out of the way at the end/beginning of a show. I'd rather watch 15 minutes of straight commercials so I could enjoy the full 45~ minutes of the show.
Yeah but then no one would watch that portion haha I guess they have to do it this way to make sense.

Every time I think I see where the show is going, I get completely whooshed. I won't lie, so far it's not really like the comics, but it is interesting to say the least. My only complaint is that there aren't enough zombies per episode.
