They would be over the 280 hp cap unfortunately. Your gil needs to meet with my gil because this whole process has made me broke. And put some Vit on that body sir.

The 280 cap is BS. My tank set has 400 (110 body 120 glove 100 belt 70 on a sent boots) hp and all of them work.
Was waiting for some scrub to quote that... but as I said, ill repost the pic up when I attach the 3rd. Just giving an update.

Is the 400 all from materia? If so I'm going for more. Some of the gear has base hp bonus without materia that doesn't count against the cap. Vitality also gives you hp on a 1/1 ratio.

So is there a cap on HP that we can add to gear?? If so, what is it?
Good to know, i am not putting more than 2 bloodthirst on my gear though, going to mix in other materia, some Vit maaaaybe some def.

Seems like they announced a cap of 280 when they said the max hp per materia was to be 28. Guess we are safe to keep on keeping on.

Passed the hp cap by 8 points on my mage and they work so I can also confirm it's not 280.
