I just want to know exactly how these work. I've seen conflicting stories about how it only affects the first hit on multi hit weapon skills. I just want to know if it's worth it to invest time into getting them for Evisceration, Dancing Edge, and Blade: Jin. More specificlly if it's going to increase the accuracy of the whole weaponskill or not which is where my problem, and interest, in these gorgets comes from. I also want to know how these would effect Blade: Hi and Rudra's Storm.

yes its worth it. You get 10 accuracy per hit. the fTP mod only applies for the first hit however. I think the 0.1 ftp translates to 10% dmg on the first hit but I'm no good at maths.

Sea Gorgets increase the fTP of the first hit of a multi hit WS by 0.1. The other hits don't get the fTP bonus but the ACC bonus is applied to them.

Whether this is best for a multi hit ws usually depends on the the situation. If ACC is capped for example, a neckpeice that increases modifiers or ATT will likely pull ahead.

Edit: For Rudra's/Hi I believe increasing the mods may do you more good because of their high modifiers. However, take that with a grain of salt. Too early for me to do math right now.

Alright thanks. I could never get a straight answer on the accuracy. On nin I usually have some trouble with Yonin's -acc. DNC isn't so much a problem but a sea gorget would be better then a Chivalrous Chain then?

This!

Rancor collar for evis and jin is a better neck slot, and being price has crashed to 200k on your server i'd say its probably not worth the time organ farming

Chiv chain can go suck a fat **** unless for some reason you need the store TP. Rancor Collar is better than Gorget if the WS is crit based. However to get the full effect from the gorget you must have capped tonberry hate. (Max hate being 6k to reset hate)

The only downside of the rancor collar is the 10% extra damage you take with it on. But if its used as a macro piece that's not an issue.

I had a Rancor, but I usually only use Evisceration in Abyssea unless I'm skillchaining with Dancing Edge.

Also does anybody know the stats you get off of using the belts? I have a Soil Belt but was wondering if it would beat the Anguinus in Attack and Accuracy.

From what I've read (i have no idea if this was tested or not. This was just hearsay far as I know so take this with a pinch of salt.) The belts have the same effect as the gorgets. This could be wrong however.

Have you tried skillchaining Rudra? I always figured that would be DNC's biggest advantage over thf. Being able to do two Rudra's Storm back to back with self Dark sounded really promising to me.

If I remember correctly the biggest advantage for DNC compared to THF with Rudra's is actually Climactic Flourish.
