HP- gear for paladin. Used to lower your HP, so you can cure yourself for enmity.

A set combo to lower your HP and then raise it so you can cure yourself more.

I'm making a list of items that come to mind.

That's a lot of -HP there. I wouldn't consider swapping weapon/sub/ammo because of the TP loss

For the Ear and Ring slot you can use pretty much the same HP>MP options you can get for a mage job: astral earring, graiai earring, Serket ring, bifrost ring will do.
For the neck slot, you could sport a Morgana's choker or a phrenic torque.

Once your HP is down to your desired level, you could slap in as much HP + and Cure potency gear as you like.

As far as I remember, these are the only items a PLD can use to boost his cure potency:

Both barbuta (from golden chest in Aby Tahrongi) and legs can get +5% Cure Potency augment, although I'd rather save the augs on the ASA pants for something else. You could even get a Champion's galea with Cure Potency and Fast Cast augments but, yeeeeeah..

I havent really been upgrading my sets as much as I want, but its adequate for now.

This is my starting cast set, pushes my hp down and offers fast cast gear to get my cures off as fast as possible:

This is what my cure3 finishes in:

This is what my cure4 finishes in:

Improvements: ammo+1 for more enmity, Oneiros earring, new enmity +8 hands.

As far as head goes, Hero was ahead of barb aug with lv75 numbers, those have obviously changed at 95, I havent really sat down to predict what they are atm and if it changes much, but atm with inventory being so rough, hero's has many more uses vs just a cure head. Asa-legs if you cant find a better use for them, cure pot+5 +4enm is the best thing.

Code xml
<if spell="Cure*">
	<equip when="precast" set="FastCastwith-HP" />
	<equip when="midcast" set="HP+gearwithanythingelse" />
	<equip when="aftercast" set="idle or w/e" />
</if>

Idk if that is what you're asking, but that's how it would go.

You would want to lower your max HP, then raise it during midcast so you create a buffer to allow more HP cured.

More HP cured = More hate

can even increase your enmity during midcast, w/e set you put in there is fine.

Also yes, haste will only help you during midcast.

That's fine, it would work the same way.

As long as you put it on before you finish casting then you're good.

Try to mix HP with enmity gear if you can. If not then that's just fine.

You'll want to make a check to only do it when you're casting it on yourself. If you're casting C4 on someone else and you're HP just rises that would be... just silly.

anyway, i'd put at least a bifrost/serket ring in your precast set... then put more enmity in your end cast set.

My sets are kinda bad... since that was at 90 or 95 cap... and just threw in whatever was cheap/i already had... didn't really get the chance to fix it up after i got almace/ochain.

What is the use for midcast delay? Wouldn't that prolong equip'ing gear for 1/2 a sec?

Seems to counter against you during laggy situations.

idk, it was equipping stuff too soon when i was lagging and the hp down stuff wasn't working (i'm not sure why... my only guess is that the game needed a split second for it to register so the hp went down). and cure's at least a 2 second cast (on pld without fastcast gear) so half a second fixed it... Never bothered to see if i could go lower. Could be changed or taken out if that works for you.

would go mess with it now.. but y'know :3

just more of a chance for it to lag and screw up. should be using the least number of swaps as you can without gimping yourself :p

finally remaking my pld xml and its been a very long time since ive done this and cant remember exactly how it goes

edit: and is there a diffrence with using -hp gear and +hp gear?

1. obviously it doesnt lower your hp to levels where you might die to something that wouldnt have killed you before (rare,but possible if you're unlucky)

2.one thing everyone tends to forget or never to mention.is the enmity/max hp relationship.iirc (its been so long) but lower max hp = more enmity for the same amount cured,and conversely,higher max hp = less enmity for the same amount cured.Its all related from the % of your max hp to the amount cured iirc.

#2 is a bit fuzzy since its been so long since I set it up so if anyone has any corrections or anything,lemme know!

Ummmmm... I thought it was this:

[ CE ] = [ CE Modifier ] × [ HP Cured ]

[ VE ] = [ VE Modifier ] × [ HP Cured ]

Are you sure you're not mistaking #2 for Damage Taken?

[ CE Loss ] = 1800 × [ Damage Taken ] ÷ [ Target Max HP ]

(but even then higher hp would be a lower enmity loss)

I think you might be confusing # 2 for amount cured vs. enmity.

Only thing I can think of, since there was a discussion about it a while back... having a certain amount of hp in your cure set vs. more enmity... but that was at 75 cap when there were fewer options to lower/raise your hp. Since we have so many more ways to lower/increase our hp... we can basically get the max amount of enmity and still be able to cure as much as we need to. I don't think you could do that at 75.
