Yeah, red version has Oddish. Just get a Bellsprout, same difference.

Mankey w/ screech, karate chop, focus energy.

Something w/ dragon rage or a physical grass attack (I used weepinbell growth + vine whip).

Went down rather quickly. Screech doesn't do anything for special defense though, hence the physical attack

Yeaaa, I did scary face+flame thrower. If I learned swordsdance it'd be easier. For wartortle I'd suggest using bubblebeam(or bubblle)+something strong.

i *** hated that one. Alakazam put in a lot of work on that one. Was able to take out half the things by himself, sometimes better than pokemon that actually had a weakness to my other pokes.

Yeah that's what I'm doing, I can't kill Blastoise fast enough though, and it's like hngh, then he runs off with the last candy.

I ended up being to kill everything but the 3 starters at the end. Then they each got off w/ one candy before dying, but since I still had 4 or 5 by the time they came in, it was like w/e.

My pikachu actually has done the best on the Mankey so far. Just straight Thunderblot. Was still ~2 shots off. I didn't get a single Paralysis though. I really hate the idea of winning it by luck. =/

Edit: Ah, gonna relearn Thunder Wave. 100% paralysis.

Edit2: Apparently paralysis doesn't do what I thought it did.

Can toss/re-get ***as you need it. It's not like the game where you gotta find the move tutor and only 1grand. Just don't remove TMs cause those are 10k to put back on, lol
