Dark Orb is more efficient, Everyone's Grudge is only slightly more powerful. Under ideal conditions, Dark Orb could actually be more powerful than Everyone's Grudge.

Edit: Fun facts

Our most efficient nukes in order of damage:MP cost -
(Assuming 135INT, 113MND, 70Magic Attack Bonus, Pluto's Staff/Neptune's Staff/Jupiter's Staff)

Corrosive ooze (13.38dmg/1mp)
Dark orb (11.84dmg/1mp)
Thunderbolt (10.05dmg/1mp)
Water bomb (10.04dmg/1mp)
Regurgitation (10.04dmg/1mp)
Everyone's Grudge (8.24dmg/1mp)

Sandspin is also 13dmg/1mp, but when it only does like 100 dmg it doesn't really matter much.

I never liked Everyone's Grudge due to the excruciating recast timer on it. If I'd be nuking, I'd rather put on Water attack atmas and spam Regurgitation and Acrid Stream.

Does your chart account for the bonus you get for Regurgitation when behind the enemy?

Behind the monster, Regurg is more efficient yes. The 1CE/640VE generation is also irreplaceable.

I use everyone's grudge solely to one-shot dynamis statues. Always double dark weather so obi is your friend. It's nice for zones like bastok where you need some sac pulls. Nuke > die. Unfortunately the mobs will still link, even if you one-shot the statues.

edit: forgot my point. Was wondering if dark orb would be better for this, but I heard it has lower range?

This should be about the best you can do for grudge/dark orb anyway:

Maat's cap obviously, and morrigan's legs would be better.

solo NW Apollyon as blu/rdm the other night to try to learn Thunderbolt and was fairly happy with Dark Orb. Though mobs there aren't exactly tough. Heavy Strike + Delta Thrust worked out much better though as far as damage/mp ratio for me on smaller mobs between restore chests.

and 1/3 on Thunderbolt from the normal behemoths there. :)
