Skilling Up Marksman

simply put, trying to skill marksmanship, im sitting at 245 right now in boytree and ive shot over 300 times, for 1.2+ skill

any suggesstions? thanks

What do you get when you cross 3 regen atma with an Abyssea-Attohwa worm?

I don't know if this is outdated now that abyssea exists, but I went and sleepbolted some EMs or something for a few hours. Never really got touched

I think it was 80 cap added worms that are decent in Aydeewa Subterrane at the entrance .. um next to the marbs/tigers? (if you exit from white gate into the thickets you follow the right wall) I'm to lazy to look up the entrance number/location but its a nice place to skill magic or ranged at least to 80-85. Tho I agree more with the abyssea idea. Even two regen atma and a normal mob can work adding in an acc atma to help. Hell, if your behind on axe or dagger equip a lvl one and swing away while your shooting. Might as well.

Get a really low delay gun, one that drops from attowha vnm t2 works fine... join an abyssea pt, sushi rng acc gear/atma, get exp/cruor and skill up. Really doesnt take all that long if you doing it right.

I see you're a THF. Soo....

1) Get a cheap crossbow.
2) Get cheap and/or sleep bolts.
3) Get proper skill up foods and the skill up ring if you can wing it.
4) Head on over to Misar. Coast in Vana'Diel and skill up on the birds there to cap or at least 280ish.
5) Finish COR and skill up during your events and runs on the job, using mainly Quick Draw.

You can cap any skill on Misar. Birds, btw. Doesn't matter if it's F Rank or A Rank skill.

Buy the strongest xbow you can get, buy the cheapest 3gil bolts or w/e you can get, and go hit stuff in Abyssea?

I don't see what's so hard about this.

if you going to act like a ***, at least check your fact first. Thf dont have acess to the cheap/low lvl bolts. Their for war/drk/rng

also, you don't want the strongest xbow, you want the fastest xbow. who cares if it takes forever to kill, you are just skilling up.

reread *cheapest or whatever you can get People need to learn how to think. Skilling up is super hard guys.

And you wanna be able to do more than 0 dmg on a mob in abys. I just went for the cheapest strongest to make sure.

And you have to manually hit ra each time you fire. -20 delay on some 250 xbow won't matter that much.

Base DMG can be 1, it's not going to make you hit for 0. However, if your attack/ranged attack are low compared to the mob's defense, that will cause you to hit for 0. I love when people are completely ignorant of how the game works and spew *** about how they're right. Silly goose!

/shrug doesn't change the fact that skilling up is hard.
