Modus Veritas

i was wondering since they had nerfed modus veritas a while back has anyone done any testing with macc gear? i mean i know there are times where it has no effect on the target and there are times that it misses (more than it lands) and being i have over 100 macc in gear i can use, was wondering if anyone else has done any testing or eyeballing regarding macc gear working with modus veritas.
