Dexter Season 6 [SPOILERS]

I just feel like the show has gone beyond the realm of believable reactions. Dexter getting all upset about his son getting ill in the flash of like one episode. Dexter's relationship with the "baddie gone good" was too rushed, in my opinion.

The villains of this season are just too.. Ugh. I hated how the younger villain meets up with some random chick then all of a sudden - BOOM, she's taken and the dude doesn't care.

The use of CG is pissing me off - the snakes, the locusts, ugh.

I will say that the latest episode's ending made me smile though. It was good to see "Bynie" again and I hope that Dexter continues to fall into the "dark side" to a point where he can't control himself and thus get caught.

Deborah loves Dexter! Jamie better not get hurt, and what's the deal with game designer guy.

Dexter and Deb going on a killing spree together, and make out afterwards, lol!

I'm sure Deb's love for Dex is going to be pushed to the limit right off the bat learning of his secret. But if anything they'll likely be either bonnie and cylde in time for season 7 or they'll be thrown into a hairy situation with that gamer guy that forces the gravity of the situation to be put off to the side temporarily.

That gamer guy's storyline is done with. He mailed the ITK's hand back to Dexter and gave up on his serial killer game.

Especially with the hand thing. If he's as smart as they make him out to be, he's likely to dig up all of Dexter's past secrets via his tech nerdiness and sneaky methods. Also he seemed almost... insanely inspired by Dexter. Not enough to know what he does, but once he gets the idea, what better way to idolize or revere someone than to become their greatest adversary?

No offense, but I think they did give the Gamer Guy more attention than a regular filler role. His fixation on Dexter in the last episode should show this.

Things I didn't like about this season:
Dexter: "did you guys go in yet?"
Batista: "no we were waiting for you"

I mean really guys...this allowed Dexter to conveniently have time to knock his demonic mural face in

you mean really? not even the police went in..Dex is just the blood splatter guy...so really!?

also, Dexter and his pieces of boat washing up on shore after "falling off his boat" which occurred coincidentally around the same time as the police received images of a fire at sea and no bodies were found. I mean it may still be kind of a stretch to make because nobody has any reason to suspect Dexter of anything but still....this kind of bothered me. Though I liked the scene of Dexter and Travis on the boat.

Also the Deb/Dex thing..At first I made the same "omg ew ew" face that I did in theaters when I saw the Spock/Uhura thing

but it wasnt as shocking as when I heard that Deb/Dex were married/divorced in real life.

now its kinda growing on me cause I wanted to know what kind of weird and awkward scenes this would put them in.

but now thats kind of ruined cause Deb caught Dexter serial killing.

Also the extra characters are just getting on my nerves. Holy Crap LaGuerta was a terrible person. Quinn was a terrible person too. I just wanted all the extra characters to go away. All I cared about were Deb, Dex and Dexters poor abused baby sitter (whom Im surprised isnt dead)

Things that I liked about this season:

Crazy Dexter. I liked Crazy Dexter. He had lots of opportunities to go nuts. His bff was killed. He went on a random out of town crazy spree. He couldnt kill the guy he really really really wanted to kill. Harrison was kidnapped. I could feel Dexters frustration mounting.

Love how the final 2 words of the season were "Oh god" as the season was so based around religion.

I love daddy dexter. He's so adorable.

Tom Hanks' son I thought did a really good job as a villain.

The cliff hanger that we all knew was going to happen eventually kinda really saved the season because everybody hates the deb/dex thing. Now everybody is forced to tune in for the next season to see how Deb is going to react.

That's the first time they ever waited for Dexter to enter a crime scene. And they acted like it was normal protocol.
