I really feel for all of you guys in this thread, having gone through it many times over through the years. The one time I DID expect to recieve this "Your content ID's have been deactivated" message, I didn't (Changed CC just prior to maint with a brand new visa). I did, however, get charged exactly 25.90 for 1 main character and 1 mule, with no expansions or add-ons purchased. I really don't know what SE's problem is. They have to deal with this ***every month. You'd think that by now they'd of come up with a means of fixing it indefinately.

That won't work for much longer just so you know.
Also I really don't see how people even have issues with 3D Secure, it's so easy to set up.

Fixed mine yesterday, took 5 min. All I had to do was re-enter my payment info, then reactivate my content IDs.

Fixed mine yesterday, took 5 min. All I had to do was re-enter my payment info, then reactivate my content IDs. Been trying that for all of last night an today lol. I get this everytime I submit my payment info:
UCS-60257 The server is busy or you have entered incorrect information
An it tells me check the number I have entered in. Its the correct number -.-. I've tried different cards an get same error over an over.

Okay so for those of you who were having the same issue as me an it still rejecting it, you may want to make a call to your bank. I finally decided to call mine just to figure out what was going on an why was telling me my card information was wrong. According to them, apparently they had a ton of fradulant charges being made by places in the state of California. So alot of banks were blocking/denying any form of charges coming from that state. Which was why it wasn't allowing me to update my CC info because my bank was denying the $1 charge thing they do -.-. Just thought I'd share this incase anybody else was having same issue as me.

If I get billed twice for July because of this f*ck-up, Square-Enix will be getting a very unfriendly phone call from me Tuesday morning.
This is what I'm worried about. It looks like there is a pending trans. from SE on my account for June, but usually when you reactivate you get charged twice the next month.

Also I really don't see how people even have issues with 3D Secure, it's so easy to set up. It won't matter by the time SE starts their POL-to-SE account transfer. I've already got a Click&Buy account set up before they auto-cancel on me again.
I'm also not in the best position to be getting another debit card with 3-D Secure compatibility on it, so I have to roll with what I've got.

What I wanna know is how I have a charge on my bank statement for 12.95 on July 2 and my content ID got canceled. The charge is just processing so Hopefully it doesn't go through but its too late to call my bank or SE so All I can really do now is wait. On a plus side this is the last straw I'm canceling my account and quitting this game after 9 years or wasting my life on in game shinnies.

talked with eu support. they say i gotta contact the bank, but why do i need do that after playing just fine for past 5-6 years.
Update: calling bs on SE but contacted my bank, no issues on that end. now a "SEE Agent Djagmit" admitts they have problems with the server and looking into it, but as far i can tell there is no annoncement about that on Playonline.

You guys who are getting the UCS error "incorrect information" are probably entering the wrong password. They want your PLAYONLINE password, not your square enix password that is used to log in now. Use your password that you used to log in with, update payment information, then reactivate content I.D.s

UCS errors are not just for reactivate Content ID. They also for register the game, like I'm trying to do.

I seem to have the same problem as many, Content ID in canceled. Cant put in payment info as i get a UCS error. Spoke to SE today, they blame my bank. Spoke to my bank they say there is nothing wrong. I tried 4 different CC, even my mums and nothing works.
The guy at SE said he was terribly sorry there was nothing they could do. So basicly i could kiss my char goodbye etc etc... after 6 years. Slightly annoyed to say the least!
He did however mention i wasnt the only one who had complained about it.. yet there is nothing mentioned anywhere about this issue. :(

You can only hope it get fixed in the week or I for one gonna either leave it or wait untill the merge is complete with SE accounts and pay with my 5k stored Crysta or whatever I got for XIV.

So basically the elephant in the room, to me, is... when they 'We're asking that you reactivate your content IDs through POL', are people being double-billed for that? I'll hold out for a few days until people let me/us know if they are seeing multiple charges due to 'reactivating content IDs cancelled erroneously' through POL like they 'suggest as a rememdy' (aka you fix it). If people are being double-billed for this... good lord. Seriously in my lifetime I will probably never have dealt with a more ****ing HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE company. They can't decide if they want to make it tough for you to give them money or if they wanna double bill you for something you've paid for and havn't received.

Well, if you're waiting to find out if anyone gets double billed, you'll be waiting until the 1st/2nd of August when they go through the billing cycle again. The people that have an SE charge to their cards but got booted and had to reactivate their content IDs should not, in theory, be double billed next month but if it is going to happen that's when it will. I hope that no one gets double billed after having already paid the fee for this month, good luck to all of you <3

I would have to agree with this. There's 2 different passwords to keep track of, make sure your putting the right one where they ask. I had this issue and that was the problem for me.

This is ridiculous.
I cannot reactive my account. I cannot re-register my credit card because the authorization is saying it is not 3D secure (It is, I have confirmed this with my bank). I have been on hold for 45 minutes now. I have already been charged for this month on my bank account.
What. The. ***. This is enough for me to call my bank and contend the charge, as the online vendor is barring me access to the product I have (apparently) paid for.
Also, this chick telling me all agents are with customers is angering me. This must be what insanity feels like.

I still cant get it to work.
When i try to activate the card on the visa registry site that they give you when updating info, i go through all the steps and then it claims that the SSN is incorrect.
Its the right one but im not getting through...
