Hell, I still can't reactivate my ID's. Wants CC info so I put in another CC to humor them and get my ***reactivated but it times out. And they already charged my CC I been using for my monthly payment, wtf se...w, t, f. -.-

GF had this issue, and I did a few months back.
Only all I did was when it asks you to sign in again to re-activate the Content IDs, I said "Exit", and it brought me back to the main Login screen as if everything was normal.
Worked for me then, worked for my GF today and worked for my LS leader this afternoon. No re-activating IDs etc etc. Just pretend you're going to fix it, click "Exit" and it asks "Abort this process?" click yes, and everything is back to normal.
No dealing with Failenix's Customer Service Dept etc etc headaches
Only all I did was when it asks you to sign in again to re-activate the Content IDs, I said "Exit", and it brought me back to the main Login screen as if everything was normal.

Edited add not sure if I had do this but I tried do the verify by visa thing an even that page is being a pain -.-. I keep getting this:
You cannot access this page.
This may be due to one of two reasons:
1. The FI you are trying to access is deactivated
2. The access to the FI is restricted for specific IP addresses, and your address is not one of them.

pol gives a link to verify the card during the information updating process but the page where i am supposed to enter my verified by visa password doesn't come up at all. after i enter expiration date and postal code, it says please wait as if the password interface is loading but then it just skips to an error page that says the password entered is incorrect. /facepalm... i dont even get to enter the password in the first place.
I'm just glad SE actually had some sack, and admitted this bs is their fault. With the exception of this billing cycle I've got bounced every month going back to two billing cycles b4 the earthquake. Had my suspicions that it had nothing to do with our financial institutions, but no solid proof b4 they released that statement.

Me and my wife have 4 accounts between us (1 char 1 mule each) and all accounts ran thro the same card and all ran fine except her main account got canceled, first time its happened to us tho.
I hope I dont get double charged or i'll rage at SE, either way the EU POL doesnt use 3D Secure / Verified by Visa but I have it enabled anyways.

Im having a issue with loging in on ps3, i can log in on the account on my pc but it keeps giving me a SQ iD or PW error.... and i even had a friend log in on their pc and it worked for them.
Did a file check, restarted the ps3 and im still having this issue.

i tried it on internet explorer too. besides, if it was a popup blocking issue, the browser would say it. also cache was empty.

So I'm at a lost on what to do now. Still getting the same error that either the server is busy or my information is incorrect. Its the same exact information they are showing already that worked in the past so I dunno why its saying its incorrect >.>. I tried doing it on the PC, an even went thru the verify by visa process an was approved, etc. Still getting same error. An it wont let me reactivate because it says I need re-input my CC info an my content ID can't be reactivated because its been canceled. So annoyed right now -.-.
Give it a day or two, they hopefully fix it tomorrow when its workingday for them over at SE/Playonline.

it seems like the cause of not being able to reactive is different for everyone lol what a mess. i have read all pages and there is a different story in almost every post.
Even tried using a different card just to see but still getting the same error about either the information is incorrect or the server is busy.

In the mean time what a PIA. I can't reactivate my id. I get the error msg about updating payment information, even if it hasn't changed. Try to update and when I get to the verify by visa link I get a Microsoft has encountered a problem error and the program closes. Sounds though like even those who can get past this problem, aren't getting much farther.
I guess it's time to work on that to do list some while waiting.

no you do not need xbox live to access POL, every gamertag has xbox live it's just silver instead of gold, silver is free and allows you to play FFXI without paying for gold.
