Shipyard Pumpkinhead is prob the best beer in existance. Too bad its seasonal. September-November here I come :P

Ive only drank 2 beers..

Coors Light and leine's berry weiss.

Had the Berry Weiss when I was in Iowa and it was really good.

Just a question do you guys play with it's 2 cups removed if you get in with a bounce? Obviously players on defense are allowed to sway balls away after the first bounce...

I are the master of the no-look 2 cup bounce...

We used to play where all bounces in were 2 cups and all bounces could be blocked. 2 bounces in on 2 balls(1 turn) would be 4 cups and the balls back. (did that a few times with teammates). Also used to run the rule where any team that won had to keep playing until they lost. Spent a lot of nights on the tables for 3-4 hours. Miss those days lol.

I'm actually drinking Sam Adams right now and stumbled on this thread.

Interestingly enough the girlfriend and I saved a ton of bottle caps and counted them up to get an idea of what beer we like most per ratio. Top 3 were:

1. Blue Moon
2. Yeungling
3. Sam Adams Octoberfest

some of the runners up were:

Newcastle
Yazoo Dos Perros
Heineken Dark (this is a great beer but I don't like Heine regular)

A lot of people in college went for Naty Light, Keystone, etc but personally I just really dislike beer in a can, so even High Life bottles are infinitely better.

Only bud heavy though, *** bud light. Sam Adams sometimes had decent sales too.

If the entire team makes it, they get balls back. Bounces are two cups.

<_< I know it's hard to believe, but it is possible! I'd still prefer other, more expensive beers over it, but when I first started drinking it, I wanted to gag on every drink.. Don't happen no more, I actually prefer it's taste over soda (what I spent my entire life drinking).

Ok we seriously made it this far on ffxiah.com forum in a beer thread without the dos equis guy... I'm shocked.

I will tell you some of the beers listed here were bought by AB and the plants have been shut down and moved. Rolling Rock is a great example. Before discovering dark/heavier beers I loved pale ales, and in college RR was the ticket...then it started tasting funny...thats because it is not made in latrobe, pa anymore.

Anyways I don't drink much besides pepsi/coke, but when I drink beer I normally look for a porter -> stout -> witbier.

To all those who say beer is eeewww gross thats a hunk of bs. It is because you tried 1-3 different beers and made the judgement. My wife hates beer, but my friend who is waaaay too much into beer found something she finally liked. There is something out there for you, and beer can be made so many ways there is no such thing as beer should taste like beer. Anyone who posted in this thread that they don't like beer has been issued the challenge of finding someone well versed in beerology and have them find a beer they will like.

To the beer drinkers here, Kona Brewery and Dogfish Head get my votes on making some of the best stuff.

Totally agree with you. Just because you had a Coors or Nattie doesn't mean you have the complete beer palette. Explore! You might find something that surprises you.
