i dont think if you have all of your skillups and proper gear for the lvl you desire going into leech or burn or what ever your preference is would make you gimp. but as long as you're willing to go out and get the skillups and gear you need that you dont have so that way your job wont be gimp. most people get irritated because you have new players going in and leeching the job they probably spent months on without the abyssea zones. but as long as you get the skillups and gear needed i dont see why you would be gimp. unless the person is too lazy to go and get them.

Yes I know but like I said I leveled it yesterday, give me a damn chance to do the quest I haven't even logged into FFXI today so it's been around 14 hours since its been leveled.
I understand people *** over leeched up jobs, but before you comment please take time to think they might of literally just got it up and are in the process of doing gear atm.
I will do my quests last because to me full +2 set is more important at the moment and why fuss over a belt which offers 1% more haste when I can just do brown + black when I have all the items needed.

BLU joining a head seal farming group on Gaizkin, only trigger they had was Heat Breath. But they had 19 level 90 jobs, so it's all good.

Worst NM i've had to wait for I think was the tiger NM in Abyssea - Uleg, a party of 6 didn't understand that when it uses a TP move you heal it and when it used a TP move sure enough 3x DD and a BLM all WS and cast.
it took them 45 minutes to kill 1 fking tiger with 2 groups shouting at them telling them not to atk during TP moves
