I have talked to a few people, and no one seems to know what is going on yet. Some people think, that NPC they pulled earlier might of had something to do with it. This isnt 100% though. FYI to ALL FFXI players, I suggest not trading anything valuable, (like PCC's and Sniper's rings... Duh...) until all the bugs are sorted out and we have more info.
well trading anything good without knowing what will happen is kind of dumb.

I traded my Plastron to one of those New Years buffalo NPCs in West Ronfaure once. Meant to trade a Shihei and got my Plastron somehow. And that's when they were worth 4M each.
The npc was being nice and didnt wanna steal your great item.

If we really can't choose our own Augments, I'm gonna go throw up then bash SE's faces in. :|
From what I've gathered:
1)You get a random augment for trading items to the spots that have been mentioned.
2)The three body pieces from A Crystalline Prophecy will have two augments chosen by the player receiving it.

My linkshell did the Ladybug Queen ANNM and got a piece of Augmented gear, hands if I remember correctly. Vit +4 and HP +11. LOL try doing some of those.

yeah this happened to me too >.< was fighting a fortification for 10 minutes as 75SAM/DNC. and got 15 xp, 7 allied notes...
hopefully they'll fix that. it looks like they made xp based on damage. but since fortifications barely take any damage..... you barely get any xp when hitting them :P
just before i did maybe 15 minutes in the jungle fighting orcs. and got 650ish xp, and maybe 500 allied notes.
