I'd put George Carlin above Dave Chappelle, but only just. I have more in common with Carlin.

comedy- i'd have to say Robin Williams, George Carlin, and Dave Chappelle. the chapelle show was so funny he had to go to south africa lol. i still hear people yell the rick james lines.

no doubt he's a terrible actor, but the roles he plays great don't require much else i.e. Matrix, Point Break, Johnny Mnemonic, Speed.



Real Comedy pretty much in this order: Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, George Carlin, Dennis Leary.

Also love Louis CK, Dimitri Martin (his stand up not his show unfortunately) Dane Cook was cool for a while, his style was different than everyone else but to say he was never funny is just lame.. I never understood why everyone started to bandwagon hating him tbh.

If we're gonna talk about terrible comics let's talk about Carlos Mencia and if we're talking about annoying comics let's talk about George Lopez

His first stand up was great, but the most recent one I thought was terrible.
