I just got dc'd from game and can no longer connect. My internet connection is fine and no changes were made to my firewall or anything else. Connection hangs then i get the usual server busy message.
Anyone else getting this or is this a prelude to the ban hammer!?

BT had a broadband maintenance last night in certain areas between 1-3am (they said it would be over at 6am but my connection was up by 3) Only found this out when my broadband light went yellow during abyssea and rang the service status message to find out maint was going on in a few areas including Lancs (where I am). Hope it gets fixed, I want to go fishing =.=

First time I've had issues with BT. Lucky I'm just about to go for a nap. I bet it won't be up for like a day or two though lol.
So it would seem it's a BT error, Though anything else, msn/fire/fox/bit torrent reamins unaffected just POL and SE sites.

Also on BT, same problem. Can I ask, have any of you been experiencing really slow POL aswell the past few days? It has been taking a few minutes to get from login > FFXI top page since probably friday-ish.
Yeah my internet is acting a bit screwy at the moment too. Some websites are taking an age to load and when they do it's buggy as hell.

POL has been realy slow, took me 20 mins to login on friday.
I've been away all weekend so i can't say anything about that, but i was online for the past 2 hours with no complaints, soon as i entered PJ i got dc'd and not got back online since.
Guess it will be a waiting game, but if it's only affecting SE services i wonder how long it will take BT to even bother getting to it.

I had about a 30 minute stint of not getting past the first Downloading Data screen upon logging in. By the time I'd run through a file check and whatnot I figure the problem resolved itself.
