Hardcore = Invest a lot of time and energy into a game
Casual = Invest little time and energy
You can be hardcore in games designed for casuals and you can be casual in a games designed for hardcore. People are just being HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE and using casual as an insult.
That's true. I too feel the term should be used for the person, not the game/system itself, but it's hard to invest a lot of time in a game that's mad short, thus why people would call something like Mario casual since it can be beaten within 2 days, whereas a game like Call of Duty can last until the next installment because of online play.
