All in all I wasn't disappointed today, but not elated either.
I had no hopes for MS tbh.
The rest was kinda predictable. Nintendo has a huge opportunity here with a new console after one terrible and one mediocre conference.

EA was kinda off the wall, but they had BF3 and Mass Effect 3, as well as some interesting IPs.

Obviously the battle system looks like it's changed slightly, but you still paradigm shift and only control one character. So I'm good on that.

That's supposedly one of the appeals of the so-called Project Cafe, a return to genuine gaming. We can only hope.
Most of the wonder to me comes from speculation on how they'll handle old IPs. Even if most of it turns out to be 'rehashing' or just spinning them into bizarre directions, I can't help but be interested.
There was some funny copypasta/over-the-top theories about how Nintendo purposely got Sony and Microsoft to give into motion-censor gimmicks to over-saturate the market, only so the Big N can capture the audience once again with "real games".

I agree... I wanted a changed combat system, even slightly. Not happening. Will buy probably just for the plot and cut scenes and stuff... but ugh.

Game over because the mob decides to just hit you until you eventually die instead of the other party members is stupid. I never understood why they had that in the game when the older ones never did.
I'm very much looking forward to the story of 13-2, as long as it isn't as phoned in as 10-2 was lol....An abomination for sure, it was lol... I got high hopes for this one, for sure

The plot seems to be that Vanille(Sp) and some kid are going to try to make it so all of that bad stuff doesn't happen.
So basically a go back in time to save everyone story.
I'm sure it will be entertaining at least. Like I said, I'm looking forward to watching the cutscenes on youtube. They will be amazing I'm sure.
