Bacteria do posses sex pilli... they do swap gametes. But whats funny, is theres no male or female. A bacteria just kinda comes up, and says "well, here you go ***", and they poke each other and...

anyway. They reproduce asexually, they are just *** and swap gametes for whatever reason.

It's pretty obvious that organisms change over time. I don't think anyone who isn't a part of some radical religious group, poorly educated, or inflicted with a mental disability of some sort would argue with that.

However, I don't really see the benefit of obsessing over whether or not a person "believes in evolution." I mean, personally, evolution doesn't affect anything I do. I understand that it is an important consideration for scientists, but it's not like you're going to find a whole lot of Ph.Ds in related fields that don't "believe in" at least micro-evolution.

The tension between the two camps is just way too extreme for what is at stake; which, for most people, is absolutely nothing.

Something that is clearly observable in nature should never lead a person to question their faith in a creator. This is especially true for Christians, whose theology dictates that nature is a way that humanity interacts with and learns about the mind behind it.

As has been stated, the courts are backing evolution. There's really nothing to be concerned about if you "believe in" it. Getting upset that people who aren't involved in scientific research or development don't "believe in" or understand evolution is like getting mad at your barber because he never learned how to do calculus.

Hmmmm....read the whole thing...
a) no one person wrote the bible, it is a compilation of stories handed down from one generation to another until someone became educated enough to begin writing them down. By that time who know's how far from the original message they were.

b) translators from hundreds of years ago did not fully understand the possibility of one word having more than one meaning in an ancient language. Moder day linguistics have researched and corrected some of these mistakes but mainsteam christians refuse to accept the new translations. I have a "new world translation" from 25 years ago which puts the word era (concept is a "span of time") inplace of the word that was translated as day. the new translation is " In seven Era's god created the heavens and the earth". This alone nullifies the whole creationism vs evolution arguement because there is not set time frame for the "era" when these things occured.

c)to have faith in an intangible being(something you can't see, taste, touch, hear smell, or sense)...is not the same as having faith in the research and proven information associated with most evolutionary studies. A better word in the second situation might be Trust and not faith.

There should be a big room where we can put all the retards who believe in this creationism crap. The room should then be sealed and launched into space. That's going to fix it all.

Then we can get another room ready for all the morons who believe the earth is flat...

Rinse and repeat.

Oh, and for good measure...
