Can I Cancel The Quested Weaponskills?

i looked thro the search feature and was unable to locate a topic on this thread i also tried searching the wiki. A friend of mine was doing his MNK AF quests and in the process he acidentlly started the Quested weaponskill quest for Retrubution. Now his MNK can do his Quested H2H weaponskill and i was woundering is there a way of canceling that Quest and being able to start the h2h one? Or does he have to finish Retubution first?
