There is, in a sense.. The lodstone gives out achievements, one of them keeps track of mobs killed, granted you'll never be able to see exactly how many you've killed, at least through that function, but it does give you an idea.. At last check I have the achievement for 500 enemies.

I know the game keeps track of how many total mobs you have killed for achievement purposes; however, I don't think there is any record of how many of each type you have killed. At least not that I know of.

I can almost guarantee it would be Dodos..

And sorry, there is no way to track that, the only way to track that in XI (and still aren't able to track what types, but you can figure out how many enemies you've defeated to an actual number, and not something rounded off like the lodestone achievements) is through the adventurer appreciation, which we don't quite have solid events in XIV yet.. Sure they made it snow and gave us Santa costumes, but it still feels like a 'passive courtesy'.. However they seem to actually be getting into doing actual events during key times, like they've done in XI (it's actually in their notes, we're to have an event in summer) and they're obviously recording a lot more data about our time spent playing the game, so maybe, eventually you'll be able to know..

I'd like to know as well..
