If you have a Tier 3 abyssite, doesn't it get broken upon use? Can you use a higher tier abyssite to enter a lower tier voidwatch?

i have a question regarding how drops work in voidwatch.
asides from needing a voidstone to obtain treasure, is the treasure thats recieved from those chests limited to the idividual only? like for items in such a case like the mextli harness which are rare/ex? if it appears in a chest to a player who doesnt even have jobs to equip it, can there be nothing done to reallocate rare/ex drops in voidwatch?
