have a question~ im going overseas to hong kong for a trip sometime if i get my PS3 there and then bring it back to new zealand would i be able to connect to any other servers outside of the hk or nz region?? or would these be locked somehow to certain servers or regions??

I don't think the servers will be region based and if they are just create a new PSN account in your region of choice. So yeah just watch where you buy your Copy of Battlefield and thats all I got. The game isn't out yet so we don't know for a fact if it is or not Can't wait to play this game!
Well that kinda sucks, I thought BETA was going to be open, as in open to everyone...
But meh.. I already paid it off in cash and I prefer to have physical copies of a game (not just a burned CD).. It's almost an OCD thing for me.. I've waited this long for the next big BF on PC, I can wait til release... Well I think the BETA will be open but ppl who pre-ordered from EA website or bought MOH will just get a head start
also I use to be big of having hard copies but since I got so use 2 Digital content (aka steam, direct2drive, etc) I don't mind having it online boxes take up space yo!! But I like those boxes ; ;.. Hell there's like 10 PC games sitting ontop of my desktop atm (a bunch more up in the attic).. and I have a milk crate full of PS3 games.. I like being able to look and admire my collection of games..

I just have too many I have my limited edition MoH with beta ^^ and I will be preordering from origin in the next day. I'll be playing on 360 and PC. Wanna get a feel for both. 64 man was very impressive... Co-op was kinda painful with the commentators.
Well just knowing there is co-op was a step up for me

Also, the chaos is what I love about Battlefield.. You never really see that in any other online FPS. Glad to see it's still going to be very chaotic.. The Alpha left a lot to be desired, because it was only one map, with 1 APC.. It was mostly a snipe fest. Although even it had it's moments, like when you'd pushed them back so far it was defend the last 2 objectives or lose the match, it would turn into total chaos, cuz everyone was packed in very close range, explosions going off everywhere, bullets flying everywhere. They've said to compensate in the console version and a console's limits (more or less) that matches will be reduced to 32 people, and the maps will be smaller.. Which likely means just choppers..

Or Is out of your Line of sight the red dot poofs off ppl screen but remains on the mini map for a bit (last known location) I like that -------------- Kill cam is pretty pointless in Battlefield tho Map is so huge your gone by that time Looks like DICE actually listens to the players..

No actual date has been said yet (that I can find) on when BETA opens.. I've been Googling about every 12 hours looking for signs that it's live. Dice is going to have a PR nightmare on their hands when they push this game out for the Consoles. Half the Frame Rate, half the Player Cap, but they're only publicizing the PC version... It's not going to end well, mark my words.
Inb4 Do ur research before buying the game. The majority of people drawn to these games don't have the attention span for proper product research. BETA could be out any day now. PC version is already ready for release, now it's just going through approval with Sony and Microsoft (we don't know when this process started) which usually takes between 2-3 weeks.
