I love watching people do that. I'm about to start playing support with my new USAS so I can rank it up some and unlock stuff. I want Claymores.
I just did 100 kills with the USAS today actually... pure rape. I got my sniper medal finally and the radio beacon medal, so i can finally move on from recon for awhile. Decided to pick up Support with a shotty for a bit since i was closer to a shotgun medal than lmg atm.

I got the 100kill award for USAS on my third map lol. This thing is crazy. Looks like I can start playing other maps besides metro now that I have it.
I want this game so bad.. been playing BF2 for the last 6 months...
Ya know.. I love Operation Metro Rush, but when the defenders move up to the point where the second you spawn you start taking damage.. It makes me want to *** blow up my god damn computer with a giant stick of *** dynamite.
I'm really loving the M98B.. It's by far the best sniper rifle out of them all, so easy to nail head shots with it.
M98B all the way, was used for 80% of my sniper medal. Don't even need the head shot in hardcore, the thing will beast you in 1 shot at medium-long range where most of the other snipers still need 2-3 hits without a head shot.

Edit: I'm hoping the rifle from the Map Pack is comparable to the M98, cause as it stands now M98 probably has the highest velocity round. The other rifles don't even compare unless you're at short range.
The L96 in BF2 was a beast, better even than the .50 cal.. I don't remember if it could punch through cockpit windows, but it sure hurt like hell to get hit by it.
Really looking forward to back to karkland expansion... wake island looks amazing.... let alone the new weapons/fun stuff.

This comes from BF3 Blog. This puts the L96's range behind all of the current bolt-action rifles. Hopefully this is nothing official or I'll be sad. :/
They definitely slowed helos down. It's nice on maps it's nice for (Damavand Rush) but it's terrible on open CQ maps

Oh wow i really like the Saiga 12k... very comparable to the USAS.
For some reason I've just stuck to the M1014. I like that you can fire mid reload in case of emergency. Sure, I could swap to side arm, but I'm usually dead by the time I pull it out. XD

I never liked the Saiga in BF2.. It was just impossibly weak. Basically running around with just a pistol was the better choice. The only time it was worth a damn was in true CQC.. Which was a pretty rare thing in BF2.. You generally had to run half a city block just to knife someone.. Getting the gold Knife Combat Badge was a huuuge pain in the *** for me..
Nearly all the fire fights in BF2 were at a distance where you were lucky to hit someone with a shotgun.. The only real exception being on the US side during Karkand trying to take over that first flag.. Being on MEC didn't really guarantee any CQC, most of the enemy was picked off before they could get in those little alleyways.

The 870 is hands down the best shotgun from what I've noticed, or at least, my play style. Yeah, the USAS rapes, but I can't put down my old pump shotgun. The Saiga just sucks ***. It's spread is just worthless at anything outside of a room fight.
dunno if anyone has spoken of it yet, but has anyone experienced the green flashing of the screen while playing any game mode with intense action?

I have Green, Red, and White. Haven't really paid attention to where it happens, but I know it's annoying. lol
k then its a game issue then. cause im on ps3 and it happens. what about any pc users any reports of it on there? hope its not console only >:(

I unlocked USAS, and it's proven to be more fun than I imagined. I tried it out on rush, and the opposing team stood absolutely no chance. My team won like 10 games in a row.

I'm honestly not sure why... but i had a super easy time getting the service star for both USAS and Saiga12k equally as easily. Rape everywhere i went. G18 is by far... the best pistol ever by the way... recon or not I'll be packing my lil sidekick lol. REX is nice but yeah... i'm more than happy with the G18. I actually played a recent game where i used nothing but the G18 from start to finish... ended with like 5 pistol ribbons and only died a few times. Made the handgun medal so freaking easy to finish off.
I don't know I just can't bring myself to use anything other than my tac M9 for close range encounters when sniping. In other news back to under rank 150 in jet kills globally on XBL again.
I also use the G18 as my pistol. You can take out 3 people in less then 3 seconds with it making it an amazing gun to switch to when you have to reload your primary.
I tried using the Saiga 12k but anything over 12 yards away always took 2 shots+ (I had one guy that I fired 5 shots into at 15 yards away and he had 40% health when he killed me..) the spread is just too much for anything other then point blank.

was playing conquest and there was a squad my team was against that all used USAS, needless to say they won. i almost never win in a confrontation against one.
i use extended mag mp7 and just got hooked onto scar-h. its quite strong but based on the pc patch, it should get a slight nerf in dmg.
as for recon, im still on sv98, havent unlocked any new ones in a while.

just curious to see where others are, I was on Kharg island, I believe, on conquest, & we had the enemy pushed back to the aircraft carrier. well I was on shore, & nailed some poor hapless *** down where the boats & amphibious transports are. I laughed so hard, I could barely make the guys figure out with the 12x scope. so anyhow that one was my longest @ 405m
