I've had my matches of people i can't shake is probably the problem... i did everything and the person stayed on my *** for at least 5 minutes straight... nothing but constant circles... speed changes... circles circles circles... eventually had TWO of them on me... was getting really ugly...

So i got angry and was like fine lets see if you can hang behind this, so i dropped super low in between trees, and followed the river bed in caspian border... one immediately crashed into a tree... and the other lost me because they refused to go as low or fast as me.

Afterburners and 4 feet from the ground is an amazing feeling, especially when your in a full turn in third person on the look out for a tree coming around.

I enjoy playing dangerously :X Yours is probably more safer and efficient as i DO tend to make mistakes. I have unlocked the disabled vehicle medal as of last night as well as 10-12 total jet warfare ribbons now. I MIGHT.. have made MVP 3 ribbon from a round in jets.. i really love going after helicopters... its so mean feeling though.

I like flying jets ~ and when I see a capture point being over runned or in rush if the bomb is planted. I usually fly straight at it do like a 2 second burst with the gun~ fly right over the place and do a barrel roll and break hard right or left, then fly straight up then do a nose dive and slow the engines down and its pretty much like a low orbit ion cannon for 4~6 seconds; so you can easily aim the plane at a tank or infantry and mow them down. And when you feel like its time to get away. level the plane out and afterburn away!

I can't get the hang of taking out the choppers =/ I really hate ramming, but most times when I go after the choppers that's what I end up doing.. Not intentionally, it just sort of happens, I over-commit to an attack run, I try to break off at the last second, but over-estimated how many seconds I have til impact, I clip a wing on their under-belly or tail or something.

I'm best at taking out enemy planes, and pretty good at taking out tanks even with an enemy jet on my heels. It's a pretty bad tactic but it works! I let the other jet on my team attract the attention of the enemy jets and then dive in and take them out.. Usually my team mate lives. I give back though, when I see a team mate on the run way fixing to take off and I have someone on my heels, I'll lure the *** pretty much right in front of my team mate and let them deal with it. It shouldn't work as well as it does.. The enemy just seemingly never sees it coming though.

The best part is when you rule the sky... and use the guns to take out the jets as they respawn at the enemy base and try to take off down the runway.

no its not a *** move. Its asserting your air superiority prowess. If they don't like it, they should use the AA gun placement or stingers

AA guns do pose a problem if they get mad enough lool... its amazing how often those go ignored though.

they make great anti infantry if the other team gets close to it

Ah but good sir, of course I keep my crosshairs up. 15 year FPS vet here! My issue is the stopping power of the UMP (minimum of 7 shots, or 3 headshots) which I have been using lately. Getting pretty good at it, but my SKS is unmodded because I barely us it, and I disliked it that one morning I was playing with it for some stupid reason. I think it was because I was on Canals and that map makes me cranky without coffee.

I really like the look and feel of the UMP with supresser/laser/dotscope. It's just a bit weak atm.

I've been 2shot by the SKS a lot. I'll be building up a kit for it.

UMP and PP2000 is beast, only weak against heavy flak ppl.

I never camp runways or spawn points.. Maybe I'm just such a 'gentleman' and want to give them a fair chance, it just feels like poor sportsmanship when I do it, so I never do. Or maybe it's just because I get so *** bored flying up there all alone because my teammate in the jet just always sucks so hard and crashes about 30 seconds after take off, and I'm up there foreveralone.jpg because the other team is too afraid to get in the air and decides to hide on the ground with stingers trollface.jpg.

I've been thinking about making a new montage, video editing is one of my occasional hobbies.. I've wanted to 'show how I roll' in the jets, but I'm not sure if my video card will take BF3+Fraps.

Do it! I've made tons of WoW, CS, and a couple XI videos. I do enjoy video making. I've not touched the jets or heli's so it would be cool to see how you handle them.

There was a heli pilot who wrecked our ***earlier today on caspian. He was like .. 42/2 at the end of the map.

Would you be able to record me in a jet? It's a single seater, I've never heard of playclaw before and it makes it sounds as if you watching my gameplay is a possibility.

i love the MP7.... pp2000 not a fan of.. with or without a scope, and its even harder to shot withut a scope.
i loved the p90 on CoD series but im not lv 40 yet to try it. but the MP7 is the next best thing and with extended mag attachment (shot more bullets before reload) it gets really good

and it has a 950 rate of fire. thats 50 more then the P90! (MP7 may be my permanent gun lol)

edit: if im not mistaken 950 is the highest rate of fire within the game

I probably won't beable to see from your point of view~ but If I can get into a jet also i can pretty much follow anyone. and i'm sure EA/Dice will release some kind of spectating mode or something in the near future. and Depending on how beefy your machine is (i'll give details in pm)

My computer is pretty good, minus the video card.. The card is even now still a decent card, it's just years old and dying. Otherwise my computer is a good strong machine. i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz, 9GBDDR3 RAM, 1TB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Card is a 1GB HD4870.

with that setup~ there maybe some initial lag when you start the screen capture~ but it should be good after. Just don't expect it to be smooth like normal when you record tho

Yeah I'm already recording some of my stuff.. Seems fine.. (I caught the most amazing ground slam I've ever seen or done, I slammed into the ground both wings clipped a tree, and it was at an incline and it sent me right back up in the air without exploding, it was a pretty hard hit too)

I should make a BF2 flying video then compare it to BF3...

Well I made a video, it's nothing spectacular I only used an hour or so worth of footage. I had to stop taking footage because it started freezing up every couple of minutes and dropping to like 2FPS. So I decided to just go ahead and use what I got.

I'll make a better one once I have my new video card, I'll also have my joystick then too, should make for some much better precision flying and excitement then what I'm using now.

Video is currently being exported, once I get it compressed and uploaded I'll post it here.

I doubt a video will help me any, but flying vehicles are definitely my weakness. I can fly jets pretty decent I'd say, but I just can't seem to keep another jet in sight long enough to take 'em down.

It's not a tutorial video <_< but you might be able to pick up how I do it. I never go to cockpit view unless I'm lining up a shot, If I'm chasing a jet, and trying to match up my flight path to take the shot, I'm in 3rd person. I do a lot of view switching.

my experiance has been you just have to keep practicing. tries 1-10 = crashes, tries 10-20 = shot down, tries 20-30 = mostly shot down but taking a few helicopters with meh, tries 30-40 = 50/50 split between tearing up some enemy , & getting tore up. that's where I stand on the deal.

Lol, I wasn't trying to imply it was a tutorial, but watching someone else do something you can't do well is still a learning experience.
I usually stay in 3rd person as well unless I'm lining up a shot or I end up clipping a wing or something.

I think i just pee'd a little... 3 new vehicles really? And 10 more weapons as well?!... argh...

Those are also the 4 absolute best maps from BF2.

Who doesn't remember the grenade/sniper battle that happens at A on Karkand while medics sit there and revive people for ridiculous points or the difference between good team and bad team on Wake.

Sharqi though...that's gotta be a close close close 2nd to Karkand as far as favorites went. So many strategies to employ.

Update though, using 2x Explosives Squad Augment if I get on Engi I can pretty much stop any vehicular advance from the enemy by myself..and since mines stay after death I can very easily place more than 6 out. I sometimes wonder if my teammates are blind/deaf and whatnot though.
