However the release date may have been leaked, and if that is the case, then it's coming Nov. 2.

4x gtx 590? that's entire pointless seeing and seeing as each gtx 590 only has one sli finger...impossible unless you for some reason have 2 rigs.

Didn't even know they were doing that. Well, tell us how shiny it is when you start! Screenshots, if possible. I dunno if it's against Alpha ToS or something.

I never actually signed up for it, I just had an account with BF since 1942.
I just had a huge kill streak a minute ago, I'm really loving the suppression feature they've added. Basically if you shoot near someone their screen will blur up a little, making it harder to see, you get points if you keep them suppressed and they get killed 2 or 3 seconds later, it makes it possible to hold back a push without killing. I think it's brilliant. The server browser is pretty nifty too. The controls whilst prone are a little stiff, and it takes WAY too long to level up. I'm rank 2 so far, and still rank 1 in all the classes.

Oh flion I have a question that you can answer now, or maybe in like an hour or so if you want to check some numbers for me. But I was wondering what are the specs on your rig and what temps were you getting on X settings kinda thing. Pretty much how does the game stress your rig.
I've been pre-ordered on PS3 for months now. got all the money stashed away so I can go and get it on the day it comes out (supposedly October 25th). I've watched a couple of youtube video's, but can't really find a decent person commentating it :( I'm hoping I can get 50 in BF2 before it comes out.
Oh I wish for cross-platform play :( I'd so get it for PC.

Well there's no real graphical options in the Alpha, you have the choice of High (which is how it was shown at E3), Medium and Low
I was playing a High and getting a tiny bit of lag at full screen 1680x1050
CPU used to be Overclocked, but recently reverted it.
My PC runs hot anyway, but I was sitting at 47c when playing at high.
The graphics are gorgeous though. The lag is so miniscule that it doesn't hamper, but it's still there, if that makes sense.
Oh all of this on 32 man servers btw, which were full.

Crawl down into some grass and look down, on high you can see like individual bits of grass, looks frigging sweet. I'm hoping that it'll look as impressive on my TV.

Yeah I was blown away lol, and then literally when I took a rocket in the chest and flew into a lake >.>
The vault animation and knifing animation is pretty too, it's satisfying stealing dem dog dags.

That is one thing I enjoy about shooters is that they usually aren't graphic hogs unless they have gigantic maps. But I had to ask because this game rivals Crysis on how beautiful it was and Cry is a graphics hog so one can see how the large scale of BF maps with the graphic quality it boast may concern me. Honestly the only thing that has put my card at temps I wasn't comfortable with was FFXIV with everything topped out so I'm not concerned with what this will do.
