Nub Question Of The Day

Yea I'm probably gonna get flamed for this, but suck it!

So I got my FFXI account back up.... and for the life of... I can't get my dam Mouse wheel to work the zoom in and zoom out....

I know it used to do it before... but for some reason... i can no longer zoom in and out with my mouse wheel in XI... ideas?

Someone beat you to the punch for today

On your keyboard hold Ctrl & press the ,< button to zoom out and the >. button to zoom in.

Page Up and Page Down work as well

Yea but its so anoying :(, it was just so convinient to simply scroll my mouse and turn with right click... owells ~_~

how often are you changing your camera distance?

Wait... Why are you using a mouse? o_o I was under the impression FFXI didn't need one.

almost constantly when I used to play, when I zone i always zoom about, when I engage, yada yada.... I'm just wondering why the dam scroll doesn't work anymore...

It doesn't need it, but its nice when moving long distances. Though I prefer to use a PS2 controller myself. Sometimes I'm too lazy to plug it in, or leave it somewhere.

Really..? I don't think in 7 years I've ever used the mouse when playing, it just sits there gathering dust.
