Has anyone found out if buying the Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition and activating the code on an account that already has everything lets them get that hat? Or if there is a way to get the hat if we already have all the expansions and battle groups?

"The Destrier Beret which is included when you purchase FINAL FANTASY XI ULTIMATE COLLECTION ABYSSEA EDITION is in fact a separate registration code, so even current players who already have these expansions/add-ons can obtain it by purchasing the new collection."

Would be a nice thing for my mules and like um... whatever jobs I have under 30 lol.
I'm pretty sure the code for the hat is good for one character only.

Presumably it's be available to all characters on your account, like the Nexus Cape. It'd be silly of SE to make it available to only one character per account.

I also looks like you wont be able to sent it through delivery box to another char on that same account. Even though SE did that update that let you send SOME of the gear, it does not look like this one will be included. Oh well, at least I can get it on my main.
If anyone's buying the collection just for the item and don't need the add-on codes, I'd be happy to use them. >.>

I have a good question. I have a friend that wants to start playing. I have all the discs but I need the registration codes. can I buy this for the PC just for the registration codes or does it automatically get put into a new account?
You can buy for just the codes I did that for a mule. Note that there are 2 codes, one for the game/expansions and another for the hat.
