I think 18 days of no Nid is most I've ever seen.

Another thing with that update, it indicates a pop item falling. What if SE does some stupid nonsense like...giving you an Behemoth Drop when you kill Wyrm, etc etc.. since it just says At least one of these items will drop, it doesn't specify.

I've personally seen day 13 nidhogg on fairy, so the above post was from someone from another dimension who thinks today is opposite day.

The chance of Nidhogg spawning increases for every day (after Day 3) that he goes un-spawned. After 7, I believe it's a greater than 85% chance of Nidhogg. In theory, it could go on indefinitely without spawning, reaching a 99.99% chance after "X" number of days. That, of course, is very unlikely.

But, to answer your question more directly: no, it's never a 100% chance, ever.
