Mid-month Billing?
Mid-month billing?
I was kicked at about 2am pst from the game this morning. Tried to log back in and was informed that I was cancelled due to unpaid fees, etc., etc. I've played years and have never ever seen this ***before. My fees have all been payed and am current. What gives?
Happened to a friend of mine as well, he didnt find out what happened tho ><
I think SE's billing everyone. I just found out a couple more of my friends have been billed as well.
Its happened to me to. Just was like why you taking it out mid month instead of end.
Yah, I made a post about it this morning under another thread. Called customer support and got d*cked around as usual. Got the "I don't know what you are talking about. It must be your bank" BS.... I left a note on the SE forums. Hopefully they respond.
I still can't log onto FFXI. I got in once but it booted me the next day.

This happened to my husband account. He tried to log in around 4pm est and his account had got the whole stupid error that he had unpaid fees. Looked up what the unpaid fee was and it came up as March's billing fees :/

I haven't been billed for this month on either of my accounts aside from the Abyssea expansions I bought for my mule.
Step 1: Call SE support.
Step 2: Threaten to go to WoW or Rift if the issue isnt fixed.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit

None of my 3 accounts got billed but seems like alot of people are getting. Alot of reports now it looks like.
All I read and heard from SE side is its automatic in the POL system but yet they gotta be able to work around that if its a glitch.

Money is not the issue for me. Just was surprised to see it is all.

Well looks like someone gets a a few free months then.
This whole month is supposed to be free... and its on the record, so if they billed you, they owe you that money back.. and if it bounced stuff within your checking account.. then they owe you for the fees there aswell... theres no way around it, if they dont acknowledge that fact... then you can sue them.
good luck .. i didnt get billed but id be calling SE support if it happened to me. and raising hell for that matter

Same happened to me and SE told me that I am being billed for March service..which I understand and this is why I am intentionally using a prepaid visa/mastercard...have been unfairly double billed in the past and when one of the accounts was hacked all banking info was exposed so for us prepaid is our safety net. When I asked customer service about billing for May I was told that those fees will be due in the upcoming registration maintenance.
