no jack or leaping lizzy?
How dissapointing...lol nah this should be fun. If I see a leaping lizzy I'm gonna go on a rage.... XD
50+ times and no damn boots... lol Still not enough to get me back.. Someone do me a favor, when they finally make finding a party like in FFXI, send me a PM.
Too much of a pain in the *** to make my own party, I don't feel like shouting to join one, nor do I want to just sit online reading chat logs on the off chance I find one. The party system is a total game breaker for me. Valefor.Slipispsycho said: Still not enough to get me back.. Someone do me a favor, when they finally make finding a party like in FFXI, send me a PM. The party system is a total game breaker for me. That may be, but unless people are using the system in mass like they do in FFXI, it's kinda pointless.
The problem isn't me learning to use the system, it's everyone else. Unless anything is changed, it is unnecessarily overly complicated, which puts off a lot of people from using it, wherein lies the problem. It's typical of SE to take a simple, working concept and sit around a table going "How can we make this stupidly difficult/complicated?". Which seems to be exactly what they did. The party system in XI is simple, easy, you might even say elegant. It is not the same case in XIV. Another example is the market system. I didn't like the AH in XI, I still don't, and I would hate for the same thing to just be ported into XIV, but the same thing again, they sat around a table, figuring out how to make it difficult and overly complicated, and achieved their goal. I'm not sure WHY they do this, but they DO, all the time. My best guess is they do it to seem more in depth and comprehensive, but that's kinda HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE seeing as they seemed to want to make this game more catered to the masses and the 'casuals' than the hardcore player. Yea I guess anything is better than nothing lol...but yeah not enough to get me back either I'm just going to update it. I probably won't play again until they release a Endgame.

That's the entire point, they're still sticking to this ridiculous practice of making everything overly complicated while they state they are trying to appeal to the more casual crowd. You missed one core line from that entire post.. you do realize they probably wont do anything to the party feature till after the battle system changes right? my guess at the earliest would be this summer. the party system doesnt really bother me but that could be due to i solo'd a lot and never really used it

The party system is a total game breaker for me. The game is not even for party yet is pretty much a solo game. When they add dungeons and raids that when you really need a party and am sure they add new party system like the one from FFXI. but right now a new class and battle system is what they working on. The party system is a total game breaker for me. I wanted to add, and I know not every Japanese player does this but... Why does almost every Japanese party /sh use excessive line breaks? I really hope the line break character is blocked from being pasted into the input bar or is made bar for a ban-able offense. Here's an example: Plants Willgrow: PLACE NAME PARTY Seeking members 25 ~ 31 Send /t thx 5/8 All this time has passed since release 6 months ago and the best they can do is give Us more wildlife to fight...all but 1 of the new NM's look like old mobs just with a different name and a little bigger. Plus they are all just wildlife more bunnies deers flytraps ect...I also bet they all just drop craft items to make new gear just like the last ones and not actually drop gear. Idk know what this company content is yet but if i know these guys it going to be trash just like the garbage side quest they added last patch. They really just need to make this an 11 clone and just be done with it b4 its too late (although Its probably already too late)...

If sales/reviews/and cancellation of memberships doesn't state the obvious for you, Idk what will. Ive had some repop as fast as 10secs. i missed the claim because i was still sorting out my loot list from the previous kill >_< Also some do have their own unique spells, the NM gnat has a thunder storm and thunderwall spell...unless other gnats have that too, ive only seen them use thunderstrike >_< Zenaku14 said: Unmei said: All this time has passed since release 6 months ago and the best they can do is give Us more wildlife to fight...all but 1 of the new NM's look like old mobs just with a different name and a little bigger. Yes, they may have a repop between 3-5 mins, but its not a big deal because the drop rate is low, they drop normal gear as well as rare/ex gear too. And no, the repop for NMs is between 3-5 mins, you've stated this yourself, and normal mobs (depending, but usually) repop in a 1-3 min window. The misinformation is strong with this one.... jdcho99 said: MiracleWorks said: Zenaku14 said: They drop gear but there 3-5min repop they don't have any JS,WS,Spell of there own there just like the other mobs with a big HP pool noting more noting less. btw the repop on the Nm are short then the mobs you see in the game lol. are you serious? wow lol... thare all on the same timer Thats why it pop 2-3 secs after you kill it on how fast your killing it. try it if you have vent or TS and your LS mates camping a NM in one area and thay say pop that other NM in your area will pop at the same time |
