What to do if ffxi ever gose down :(
when the servers went down for what happend in japan i spent like 4x the normal money id spend to have fun lol without ffxi we would spend to much money
Find a private server, people are already making them now, I doubt they stay up very long as long as FFXI is a money maker for SE.

i found myself to be that way whenever i would stop playing ffxi also
i would go from spending like 30 dollars a month on average on videogames to buying a 50-60 dollar game once every two weeks

I thought though, and I admit to being a total PC newblet, that you still have to log in so to speak so they could shut down the private servers? *although It would be kinda cool to run around on a private server and be a white mage beating the eff outta PW
Angelskiss you always on my topics :) no i know a few people that have them but its gay when there's 5 people that know admin password and can go one-shot everything or delvl your *** back to one lol

Well, FFXI will see many years. When it's down to 4-5 servers, they may switch the servers to Free to play or maybe feet to play with FFXIV account. But as long as they are making money FFXI will be alive. But I would like to see SE release a private server pack so other people can host the server. I think all MMO that die should goto this if they are closing down the servers..
Also think how much money SE makes on refreshing old games.
Keeping people playing a SE game will make people play other SE games.
But DnD isn't bad Wow was ok. Rift I would try. FFXIV will be fixed. Or by that time... Who know maybe there will be something so much better.

You must not understand my posts then :/. Never, not even once, did I say this game was boring. I only said its too easy/low man oriented and also that when everyone is maxed out on items it will become boring to the point they will quit. I never once said it was boring to me, I play for my own reasons.

Then continue to do so and don't *** that you are unhappy with the direction Square's team is taking the game. In reading between the lines, its not hard to dechipher that you are unhappy, and even though you don't actually say it, you put on that it is getting boring to you.
