Byakko Duo/trio?

I'm just wondering if anyone has duo/trio'd him, with what jobs and how the fight generally went :).
Solo'd at 85 by rdm. Bind lasts very long now, even through nukes. ***is cake.
Hmmm, would a THF be able to tank and survive any nukes it tosses?

Yep, can eva tank it easily on THF with a rdm support. Just toss on mdt set obviously for nukes. Keep shadows up for claw cyclone.
Yes, I was helping a guy get his BH and brought my lolTHF to add some TH to the fight and ended up tanking it. Provided you have a healer it can be done easily by a THF as long as it keeps shadows up to avoid heavy damage JAs

Don't really got a MDT set for my THF. It's been a while since I fought byakko, how much DMG do the AoE spells cause :S? If you can remember I mean.

Considering I was using no MDT gear though and still managed to survive I'd say "not enough!" XD
Just make sure your shadows are back up as soon as the spell is over and you should be fine.
If it can be of any help, this is the eva/sb build I was using.
As you can see, it's far from perfect so hopefully it will encourage you.
Haste gear for Shadow recast and then back to that ^

It's not a big deal, but if he does banishga > claws might suck. You should invest in a MDT set though, my THF is capped and it does come in handy when low manning. Especially on something like Carabosse or other stronger spell casters.

Yea that set is pretty similar to the eva set I use:
I think they are pretty equivilant.. I'm not sure to be honest with you.
What MDT gear would you recommend Draylo? I never really put much thought into it..
A cheap and easy set would be mermans rings + earrings and twilight torque. Add avalon breastplate, denali wristbands, or konsc dark rings if wanna cap/go extra mile.
Twilight torque, merman earrings/rings or better augmented Dark rings, Avalon brestplate are a good start.

Almost solo'd him on nin/dnc. I got hit by a combo Banishga -> Razor fang and died when he was at 50%ish. Was easy going until then.
If you have the option of using WHM instead of RDM, just go /blm and stun the spells. MP obviously won't be an issue.
I duo'd it on nin and whm without any problems at all. When we tried on rdm + thf though I got hit with Banishga > TP move and died. Wasn't really hard, and MDT gear really does help a lot since banishga still does decent dmg.
Yeah could evasion tank it on nin at 75 really... though took gear
We trioed the other night as whm, thf, rdm, could have duoed to be honest..was a piece o cake , thf had no MDT or PDT set , but did have capped eva~
Killed it with ease on dnc in full haste gear. Brought a brd with me and used marches they went /blm to stun the -ga's and got bored.
I'm about to try it now, me THF and my friend WHM with +22% cure staff... should be fun :3

Agreed and solo'd by a bst I went whm just as back-up cure if needed.

Nothing hard at all, ulikummi is harder... On monk I only needed one cure 6 and 2 paralyna, and it dies quick too.

did it really easily sch, thf and dnc.. sch was there just for para and threw out basic sch helix's but it could easily have been duo'd

and i think DNC/NIN or NIN/DNC can solo for sure!

Think when I got my haidates it was a NIN/??? and THF/NIN combo.
Or something like that, might have been a whm along too but I can't remember.

Nuuuuuu! Well at least now you know how easy it is. Farming the pop should be just as easy.
Now I miss doing Sky... or anything in game /sigh!
