After the Burial is a far better band musically and would do Pink Floyd EPIC justice. And yes I mean AtB AFTER they got their new singer, not before.

All Type O's covers are like that though. That's almost not even a cover, they changed it to their own thing. I've never had a problem with that cover.

This one's questionable, if only because I think Max missed the point of the song and doesn't add any of the creepiness Manson did. Just barking over it doesn't do it justice.

That's the point of a cover to do it in their own style, not just like the orginal with a different band.

You have a point, but for as close as he tried to do the rest of the noises and tone, he wasn't going for that. The last minute or so of the song would've been good to base the cover on, where is goes into a straight heavy riff then fast.
Sometimes some vocalists should stick with songs in their range. Manson's vocals(as synthesized as they are) are on a whole different field than Max's.
