Does anyone know a good torrent for the FFXI Vana'diel Collection that includes up to (at least) the Wings of the Goddess Expansion (for PC)?. Trying to help out someone who just got a new laptop and already has a PoL ID with all the expansions, just need to find a good torrent, that's not fake or something stupid.

Well, no action on that lol.

I did find a similar torrent tho. It was the Vana'diel collection 2008. I had given the torrent to a friend to get, it was archived and I had made the assumption that after it was extracted that it would be a single .iso that he could mount with Daemon tools and install. It was not lol, was split into folders for PoL, and one for each expansion (like torrent suggested here). I didn't know where to tell him exactly where to start but inside the 'Playonline Viewer' folder was 2 folders (Playonline and Redist). Inside the Playonline folder was a setup.exe file and a Playonline and Tetra Master.msi file. I told him to try the .msi file but it just told him to run the setup first, so he started with that. It seemed to install fine and a PoL icon appeared on the desktop so he went through the folders for FFXI, and each expansion using the setup.exe file to install them. They all seemed to install fine. Problem is when he tried to open Playonline just to see if it opens, it doesn't..nothing happens. He is running Windows 7 so I figured he should try the download from playonline.com for Vista/7 users. After running that, it still doesn't open. Was there anything else I missed during the installation of Playonline?

Edit: The filepath for the setup.exe for playonline was like this:

PlayOnline Viewer/Playonline/setup.exe

But, one folder back there is also this:

PlayOnline Viewer/setuppol.exe

I got him to use setup.exe. Was that the right file? or should I get him to try the setuppol.exe?
