Bike through Chernobyl .-.
I'm tired of Chernobyl. Being Ukrainian and going to a Ukrainian school, I've seen enough of Chernobyl. The Japan Nuclear Crisis is nothing similar to Chernobyl, people. Stop comparing it to Chernobyl. God. richwood said: Cerberus.Kalyna said: Quote: # 1708: Rebuilding the damage to Japan could take half a decade, according to one World Bank expert. I'd like to see any other facility on this planet hold up to that. They will see the news and fear stuff they don't understand and completely ignore all the huge problems with other stuff. I mean gulf stream oil spill anyone? At this point this situation probably can't even get that bad unless someone bombed the reactors... or all the major mine accidents. Or just how much more radiation is released from burning fossil fuels than from nuclear plants... even with this accident there is still probably more released this year from burning coal than all of nuclear power total. But people love big stories and talking about stuff. However I don't this will cause a huge return to fossil fuels. I doubt we will reverse all the huge restrictions that we have been placing on them for so long. No one wants to have there air look like chinas. Which makes them much less cost efficient. Look at just chemical manufacturing in the 80s. I grew up around Kodak's headquarters in the 80s, before it was discovered that the neighborhood I lived in was being flooded with airborne waste. Not to mention all the life in the Adirondack lakes were dying.. That all gets changed though, Cat, b/c Every yr H&S seems to get get more important, ONLY when ***hits the fan, or some other huge disaster of some momentous proportions happens, then all health and safety gets revamped..well only maybe if it deems necessary, to some companys who think " only if its necessary". Bike through Chernobyl I so remember this , when i was in my Car Tuner forums, back in 2004. It was a real nice read up.. Im not entirely sure though, but she did a personal log entry of the whole Chernobyl ride, to even going back and finding WW2 machines in Russia, and did a like a history report thing.... she even rode a nice bike too, I think? Easy with the union bashing. not all unions and not even the same union in different states are like what your blanket statement proclaims. Out here in Wyoming, us members of the IBEW do a very good job of policing our own ranks and we do not allow people to drag out jobs. I have let many people go for that reason. So far, Fukushima is a 4. But that's not as sexy as breathlessly reporting it to be "the worst nuclear incident since Chernobyl." LoL! Look at the date this piece of news was reported dumbass.
I'll be waiting to hear more lolCONspiracy Theory crap from you while attempting to figure out why I posted it... Hmm, was supposed to be replying to Chaosx. Since they're one of those Pink Unicorn occultist types~ Pandemonium.Spicyryan said: Quetzalcoatl.Zeldageek said: If you have not seen this yet, I reccomend it to everyone. I believe it was the after humans are gone (not the name, but I am sure someone knows what I am talking about) episodes. They went to Chernobyl and showed how nature had reclaimed everything. Its called "Earth: Population Zero" and at best that tv show can be summed up as a 1/2 assed prediction designed to make a cheap buck. I highly doubt anything horrible is going to happened besides what has already happened. Give it a month! Flionheart, I'm sorry that I sounded mean the last time I replied to your post. But I guess it's not your fault you are a little ignorant, we are a product of our environment after all, maybe you weren't breast-fed?
If you don't remember what I said last time, look into Nikola Tesla, Nick Begich, Bernard Eastlund (star wars tech, no, not the Skywalker kind) Bilderberg group, Rothschild family, Rockefellers for example. I don't mean to speak for anyone, but I think the ones bringing up HAARP and the like are simply raising possibilities. Just because we don't have the capacity to begin to understand something, doesn't mean it's not the case, you know what I mean? If we as a people remain ignorant, then the people that would seek to profit from human misery will continue to escalate their profit making and all that is associated (bombs, drugs, banks etc). Hmmmm... now that I think of it, why is the most technologically advanced, learned and industrious country in the world with so many nuclear reactors having so much trouble with this? Seems to me they could have had an army of robots pushing a tsunami of steel and concrete encasing the entire area within hours of a problem, not to mention the world's elite with all of their worldwide resources converging on Fukushima-Daiichi. Maybe the Georgia guidestones aren't so "lol" after all. D: Lakshmi.Jaerik said: Three Mile Island was a 5 on the international nuclear incident severity scale. So far, Fukushima is a 4. But that's not as sexy as breathlessly reporting it to be "the worst nuclear incident since Chernobyl." Tesla is no joke as crazy as it sounds. the man was way ahead of his time. For example he didn't even want to use wires for phones and such. He could have made it work wireless. Him and Thomas Edison we're basically rivals.
Alternating current (AC) was Tesla's Idea. Direct Current (DC) was Edison's Lakshmi.Jaerik said: Three Mile Island was a 5 on the international nuclear incident severity scale. I'd like to watch it, if its available on the interwebs pls. Thanks. Ok so volunteered today to go to Japan. I know nothing except what the mass media and government officials say about the radiation leaks which is of coarse a big concern to me and my future wife. What would you do to prepare yourself to become a volunteer emergency worker in Japan(before traveling to Japan)? FYI me expertise is in Animal safety and rescue also earthquake disaster relief (California government employee).

I don't think they we're anywhere near the reactor. But yeah be careful and hell I envy you being able to do that. Keep safe! I was thinking maybe freezing my sperm wouldn't be a bad idea. Can radiation hurt that sort of thing?

I do remember Jaerik posting a link from someone in Japan stating, if you do not have some of these as a background to help with the efforts to Japan, then a forigner who doesn't know anything, would just be getting in the way. The only CTV article I can find lists it as between 3 mile island and Chernobyl. A 7 is the highest on the scale which is what Chernobyl had. According to the BBC as of 15 March 2011: Quote: How do Fukushima's problems affect the rest of the world? It depends on how much radiation is released. At present, the IAEA says the effects are of a "local" nature. This would be a 4. Yes Ive had the same training they have received for disaster relief in California. I was involved in Katrina and the Sawtooth fires in CA just to name a few references. |
