-edit- Actually, yeah, the profanity filter should be working for new and underaged users (back when Scragg put up an age... thingy). And it's not like we get mad whenever people drop a potty word here or there, only when used abusively, in either sense of the word: in terms of harassment or sheer quantity.

Back when I was semi-noobie and trying to raise Anye up right (cough cough) we were in a chat-ls together. To this day, that linkshell was the only chat-oriented linkshell I have been in (over 10 people). It was probably the most fun I had in game hanging out. The social aspect was a blessing. We used to have karioke style "singing out lyrics" into linkshell chat.
I really felt my age when no one in the linkshell knew any of my songs T.T

This place is far to crowded now. I enjoyed how quiet Caitsith was. For example all of the Port Jeuno spam (I have never used my /blist til i came here) Fighting people for pops anywhere and hopefully this new update with more ??? will help. Last night a group invaded my FCB in Tahrongi, we asked nicely to team up or to leave. They didn't so I went and FCB'd their mobs and finally they left.

On the brighter side the AH economy is much better and I am able to find things I need easier to complete my MDT sets for MNK and WAR. Everything is more expensive but not by much.

There are some nice people I have met so far that were not from Caitsith, but most of them are idiots. That's all.

I've done that. It's funny to do too. Also, most of the "pests" will fly away after you outclaim them 2-3 times. The bright side is most of the rude people are either young or used to using bots and can't handle claiming in abyssea. they get frustrated and run away.

That's anywhere you go but we do seem to have more than our share of jerks.

It's weird though it's like everybody is building glavoid pops. We go to H2H NMs and there is nobody. We are usually capping amber and fighting NMs since we are usually a smaller group of 6~8 and we get pops built more efficiently doing it that way. @13 Shells as of last night and have 5 pops built after our TH6 left. I can just feel the Ukon now...Shitty thing is I only have 15 scales for Itz >.<;; Hopefully the update for Tunga is soon, I'd really like to be FCB chigoes and farming Tunga for KI! Double Whammy!

Ugh! I need to make time to play this weekend! Too much fun going on without me. Jealous!

Overall, I've been enjoying the merge. But dear god, there were like, 4 largeish groups after Gukumatz at the same time a few nights ago. Was stupidly ridiculous.

However while popping Sobek, it was handled fairly maturely and people rotated pops to some degree. Although my LS said people were being jerks over Briarieus.

I had a brief chat with Kyoshin, but otherwise I haven't had any contact with anyone else. :<
