It's not "needed" now, either. So I don't really see your point lol or the point of pointing that out to begin with. Ninja can tank just as fine and war can deal more damage if taking dmg isn't worried about.

I think it depends on if you're capping haste/what gear you're using to get there. I know Tiger said (unless I'm hallucinating) something to the effect of Twilight is not always the gimp choice under certain circumstances.

Is what I'd aim for with a Brown belt if you have usu feet. Nothing there is that hard to get. I haven't done salvage since the boost in drops, but I'd just get some friends to spam KSNM with you.
Edit: That's inside abyssea with impetus down, or if you don't have the body +1/2.

Another trick I try is pm different people directly from this website (i.e. if I wanted to buy an abyssea item I pm a few LS leaders to see if they're willing to sale). ^-^

Kind of a rabbit trail....but what are the drop rates like from KS99 fights? Wiki lists 15%ish but I seem to remember it was more like 1/3. Of course it's been years and years since I've done them but have probably done over 100 total and it seemed much higher than 15%.
